The Mount  

The buffet breakfast was good. The location was good.

The Shower tray & tiles were mouldy. The window in bedroom was jammed closed with tissues. There was no hot water. The shower control was broken. The toilet didn't flush correctly.

The room was advertised as a double, When we got their the bed was only three quarter bed.My partner went home because of this leaving me quite depressed.

Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.Help always on hand if you needed it and all we can say about the breakfast is liked the buffet style and it was always nicely cooked. First rate.

Unfortunately our last night was rather spoiled by a couple in the next room having an argument late at night. Apart from that no problems.

A quiet friendly place clean enough , good location no false pretenses , a good budget break .

very friendly we took our pet dog, breakfast was good but could have done with more toast, which was offered later as we were about to leave dining room, very peaceful in quiet area.

As it was a bit far from main areas we would have appreciated the bar open at reasonable times as we settled quite early at night, the pub round corner Dollys was very quiet but not our kind of place.

asked many times to get the shower sorted but nothing was done unsatisfactory.

Cheap and cheerful, very basic but did the job, stayed with 2 small kids and room was quite ample for 4 people, view was awful though, breakfast was buffet style, all homemade, vast choice and was extremely good

The Staff Were Very Friendly And Very Heplfull We Had To Get Up Early To Go And See Family And Go To A Funeral About 7.30 am So This Meant We Had To Miss Breakfast Between 9 and 9.30 But The Owner Said If We Wanted She Would Get Up And Cook Us Something Which Was Very Kind Of Her Excellent Stay.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent, we had a sea view wich made our stay all the better, it was great value for the money

Stayed for the Open golf and left before breakfast time, but staff put breakfast including a fridge with milk and juice in the room. Excellent friendly service.

The breakfast was very good

Our room was not very comfortable because the area had been split into 2 rooms and the doors did not fit. So everytime the people in room 10 came in or out we were disturbed because we thought they were coming into our room. The bathroom area also needs a few £'s spending on it

The breakfast in the morning - excellent.

The only thing we found a little difficult with was the stairs as we were right at the top of the hotel. This is only a personal reference as the hotel would not know before hand that my husband has walking difficulties.
