6th cheapest in cambridge, but there are reasons for this. but it is close to the hospital which has a big bus route so getting to town is easy. This b&b was one of the worse i've ever visited. the breakfast was a box of cornflakes with UHC milk left there with 2 orange jucie cartons which once used was not replaced through the 3 day visit. the staff there kept asking about a payment that i had already payed for with reciept to prove it on the first night, after they threated to kick us out for the last night they gave me a number to call the manager, after her shouting at me and of course me shouting back that i would not pay twice we arranged to meet the manager with the reciept but only at a time that suited her rather than us as guests. she rang me back 20 mins later to explain she had made a mistake and said a very quick sorry and let us stay the rest of the night. The B&B was falling apart they messed us the booking and blamed Booking.com and there were broken doors, no paint on some walls, ripped rugs, and scraps of plactic at the sides of the floors through out the place. the place from the front is unapealing as there is a camper van in the front yard run down and looks like a Chav drug house you would find only in a council estate

It was relatively cheap. The breakfast consisted of a carton of orange juice, a tiny box of cornflakes and a carton of uht milk (un-refridgerated). The milk and orange juice were not replaced for the second night of our stay, and I had to phone to get more milk supplied. The staff were only contactable by phone. The toilets were shared with other guests, and no soap supplied.

Anonymity as a guest. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the curtains didn't close fully. The windows allowed a lot of noise through and I woke often with noise from outside. The bathroom needs renovating. Breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and cornflakes, no bread or pastry. Other guests seemed free to speak loudly and doors banged frequently at night. Prior to arrival I was advised of my room number which had changed by the time I did arrive (without my knowledge) resulting in an awkward conversation with another guest.

The B&B is a walk, and 20min bus ride from Cambridge City Centre. There was no one in attendance, and you have to ring a number on the front door for a "door access code" to gain entry. The room was very basic and the breakfast consisted of a small packet of cereal and carton of fruit juice to be eaten in your room. The price I suppose reflects this "basic" nature. I would NOT recommend

The room was dry and fairly warm. Was told to use downstairs bathroom as upstairs was being remodelled but not offered the bathroom next to the bedroom which was in working order. Radio was broken TV was broken sink taps were not fixed to sink sink didn't drain properly breakfast was inadequate - small packet of cereal and carton of UHT milk. I do not eat cereals as I am lactose intolerant no teaspoon for tea making These are not complaints since it was meant to be a cheap night -just comments

Room was very clean and the staff we did encounter polite and helpful, a comfortable stay and not too far from amenities. The advert stated that a cooked breakfast would be available, but this was not the case. We were only offered cereal and toast which we helped ourselves to.

Nice stay as long as you aren't expecting any mod cons! We arrived late so were given the code and told key would be in door of room. The code did not work so we rang to ask and were told "this is the code - I don't see what is so difficult". We then went to our room where there was no key. Called again (as no one to greet) and our call was ignored. After 15 mins someone answered and was fairly rude before telling us to push very hard on the door as key was in room. "Continental breakfast" consisted of 3xcornflakes mini packs and 1xweetabix and long life milk plus 3 small cartons of orange. For our two night stay - these were not replenished on 2nd morning so b&b is a bit of an exaggeration. Ensuite with broken blind so full view out of the window ... and in, while showering.

I liked the fact that you could get in and out the main doors with a pin code and had 24 hour access , I also liked that there was a kitchen area with a fridge and microwave that you could use. The Mowbray was very messy, and although our room was clean the bathrooms were filthy. There was a curtain tied in the middle of the bathroom window and clear glass, so if you had a shower (which I just couldnt bring myself to do), you would be seen from outside. The staff spoke very poor English and did not greet us warmly, simply handed us the key and left. we had no idea what we could or couldnt use in the kitchen area, and the beds were very uncomfortable and creaky. One of the metal bits of our bedroom window was broken so it wouldnt shut fully, and even though we could pull it and lock it, it wasnt actually shut and had a 2cm gap, we did not feel it was a safe and clean enviroment. The continental breakfast is weetabix, UHT milk, and teabags/coffee, and marmalade. - no bread. Bread IS in the kitchen (value!) but you have no idea if you are permitted to use it. Don't go here for the sake of savings £20-£30...it simply isnt worth it.

As we arrived after 2pm there were no staff at the Hotel but as we had phoned ahead all had been explained to us and we were able to access our rooms easily - hence no comment re staff. A good sensibly priced, clean, tidy establishment with all you could need for a short break in the City of Cambridge. Parking on site was a bonus so we were able to access the near by Park and Ride. Would be a bit of a trek to nearest Public Transport if you didn't have a car.

It was quiet and the internet works really well. It's cheap It's a b&b, but you can't call it breakfast. The cleaning girl leaves a tray with nescafe, 500 ml milk, cereal and some jam. No bread, butter. You don't see the owner. They give you a code to get in and your room key is on the bed. It's far from the centre, but in Cambridge you should get a bike (hire one).

Nothing. This didn't even look like a b&B. It was house with the number painted on the wall in white paint. The rooms were basic, but to be fair clean. The chairs in the kitchen were filthy and ripped and the fridge had other peoples food in it. We only needed a room, so didn't rely on using the kitchen, but that isn't the point. The owner let us in, and then went out, so we never saw her again.

The rooms were clean, spacy and well furnished. The hotel had all necessary facilities for guests including a spacy parking place. The hotel is located in rather quiet area, well marked and there is good access to the city center.
