The Mulberry is a village inn between Exeter and Okehampton, about 15 miles from Exeter Airport and Exeter St Davids train station. There are 6 luxury accommodations with private bathrooms, 2 of which can be turned into a family room, with breakfast included in the rate. The inn has a public bar area and a restaurant, and all food served is locally sourced; the delicious desserts are made on site. The Mulberry is ideally located for shopping in Exeter or exploring Dartmoor. It is 10 miles east of Exeter and 10 miles west of Okehampton. There are numerous country walks and places of interest to visit, and the main route, A30, is easily accessible. A charming modern pub with very good dining facilities. We used it as a stop off travelling to Cornwall, ideally situates for the A30. Rooms are large modern and clean and despite warnings from the staff that the pub could get noisy ( the rooms being above), we never heard a thing. Food in the restuarant was very good with a delightful menu. Good local real ales at the bar. Will definitely use the Mulberry again.

The views from our room were lovely and there is an excellent restaurant where we all enjoyed a really good meal and a relaxed evening. Will definately stay there again but longer than one night.

The room was great, very comfortable with nice decor. The food was excellent too. The pub had a nice comfortable relaxed vibe. Considering the cost of the room and the star rating of the accommodation, I would have expected complimentary toiletries in the bath room (only liquid hand soap was provided). There was no fridge or hairdryer. Little things like milk or a teaspoon weren't there either and the carpet obviously hadn't been vacuumed. The room was otherwise very clean and these small issues didn't ruin the enjoyment of staying at the Mulberry. We would def stay there again.

a very well furnished room and bar/restaurant; dinner - very modestly priced main courses, good quality and choice. 1. It was locked when we arrived at 4.15 with no notice informing when they would be opening up. 2. The bedroom windows had been left open and the room was cold - it didn't improve much overnight; a shame as this spoilt what was otherwise a good comfortable place.

A very A very friendly and helpful. We would like a bigger room next time. The bathroopm needed redecorating, but the b ed was very comfortable. It was a pity about the hot water!! A menu for brealfast would hneve been uiseful so that one had choice of the cooked items.
