With free Wi-Fi and free parking, this classic Edwardian inn was built in 1901 and is a traditional English town pub, with original features, real ales and 5 separate gas-lit bars. Recommended by CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) and described as a gem in their Stay At The Inn guide, The New Beehive Inn has a unique atmosphere. A quintessential English town pub, the Beehive is also one of only 150 pubs in the UK to be listed on CAMRA's National Inventory of Outstanding Character Interiors. The 17 en suite rooms have views of the city and are furnished in a traditional style, reflecting the age and history of the building. Each room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Nothing. It was such a bad experience, we didn't stay, & had to check in somewhere else. The place is filthy. The manager didn't seem to care about anything we complained about. He even put one of us in a room that still had someone else still booked into it.

Having the oppprtunity to experience glimpses of life during the early decades of the 20th century, away from the sophistication of the 21st cc. ( no computers, telephones, master card keys etc.

Facilities were basic but that was what I had expected, staff were friendly and helpful. If I go back to Bradford I would stay there again.

Very historical atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Within walking distance of the city centre. Although we enjoyed our stay here very much, and there were no problems, I can imagine that some people would have concerns about some of the other residents. I would certainly recommend this hotel to certain friends family, but not others.

There is nothing new about it, it is very dated and anyone wanting to stay has to be very broad minded and not easily affended, no fastners on windows, no heating on, very run down and in a poor area of the town, if you want breakfast at 6 am forget it they don't get up at that time its to early.It served a purpose for us and we can laugh its a place for the night where you get a shower and get your head down that's it It was entertaining to see all the different dossers staying there and drug addicts or dealers robbing Wiskey from the shelves of the wall bar when the barstaff went in the next room.

A very attractive Edwardian inn, in its original state and unspoilt. Friendly staff. A very comfortable bed. An excellent cooked breakfast: by no means the slithery bacon, sawdust sausage and cardboard toast one dreads in English guesthouses. Good real ales, very well kept. Not 'dislikes' as such, but perhaps worth people knowing about. Being an old building, the inn is rather cold and a bit damp. It is in a rather rough area of Bradford and offers accommodation to local people who would perhaps be otherwise homeless. I do not object to this and it presented no problems during my stay; there was mutual respect between these residents and the staff, which was good to see.
