Good size room with a really comfy bed. Were able to store luggage before check in and after checked out so that we could go shopping. Only stayed for one night and whilst we didn't use any facilities it all seemed good
We had a drink on returning at about 11.30 and felt the music was a bit loud... Drum and base which didn't really fit the the jazz feel of the hotel. Also very young bar staff who seemed pretty disinterested in serving us. A shame because the reception staff were excellent.
huge bed great location everything perfect.
Central position. Large and very comfortable bed.Rooms at the front of the hotel might be affected by noise from the building site opposite but those at the back of the hotel are very quiet.
It's a style thing, but I found the hotel room very dark and unnecessarily fussy - even hard to work out how to unplug the sink!
Spacious room, comfy bed and near town centre. Staff were warm and friendly.
Fact that despite paying £200 per night, breakfast was extra! Suite had windows that overlooked the inside foyer (bit like an inside cabin on a cruise ship).
Bedroom was functional to an extend and bed was a decent size. Coffee machine was a defo plus!!
No blind as once you slide your shutter out the way its not very private. I'd hope the roller blind was just missing from my room. Plus the main table with chair. Needs either a. Adjustable chair or different table. As you keep bashing your leg/thigh etc into it :(
Friendly, attentive staff Excellent food Atmosphere Location Very comfortable bed
Slight issues with Wi-Fi - fixed later
Great coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms Beautifully decorated rooms. Very large comfortable bed Really spacious . Very friendly and helpful staff I would highly recommend this hotel
It would have been nice to have a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath .
i was in too late and out too early to use the excellent restaurant this time
Very clean Felt homely Nice breakfast in the morning
Opened the curtains to a building site. Which we wasn't told about on our arrival. Wasn't told there wasn't no car parking.which we was told there was a multi car park around the corner.for £20 per night secure stay . expensive night overall after paying for the room as well.
Decor was excellent, location was convenient, room was nice, loved the bathroom
Little things: Huge construction project right outside the front door, only one room key could work at a time despite trying to fix it 4 times, breakfast and dinner wait staff weren't good, very friendly, but seemed inexperienced. Missed orders, too long of wait on food and bill despite not being busy, etc.
staff are very friendly
Pleasantly surprised by the decor of this well situated hotel. The room was well designed; huge comfortable bed, modern furniture and with sliding wooden window shutters - much more preferable to fabric curtains. Plenty of easily accessible electric sockets too.
restaurant a bit pricey
We were woken well before 8 am due to a crane moving directly outside our bedroom window. although we were warned before I was unaware it was only yards from our room. when woken before 8 it was impossible to get back to sleep. Plus I got paint on my luggage and my jacket sleeve due to paint in stairway near lifts. This hasn't come out of my jacket either !! costing over £400 !!!
We arrived having stayed here before to find the car park had been removed and you have to park in the ncp near the crown plaza. This is something I missed but think they should inform you
No car park onsite
The hotel is ideally situated for Leeds City Centre. It is individual in style with large spacious modern rooms. Welcome extra touches such as a coffee machine and fresh milk. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately my room looked directly into an office block where several meetings were taking place which was a bit embarrassing ! Otherwise everything was perfect.
There is a very noisy building site accross the road; the a/c didn't work in the room, the windows didn't open and in any case looked onto the atrium, hence a very hot night and a claustrophobic atmosphere which made it impossible to sleep. Felt as though we'd been ripped off.
The hotel was amazing, lovely decoration, very comfy and stylish too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back soon
We were told that breakfast was included in our package on our arrival but on departure it was made apparent that it was not included! Our issue is with the receptionist who misinformed us. In addition the quality of the breakfast was disappointing.
Staff are friendly and helpful, they provided us with umbrellas when we went out in the rain. Rooms are spacious with unique decor. The hotel was within easy walking distance of most of the city centre attractions.
Had to report an extremely dirty toilet in the room ensuite, discovered on our arrival. The problem was resolved whilst we were out at a restaurant. Dissappointed that no offer was made to compensate for the problem, a free drink at the gin bar would have been acceptable.
coffee machine didn't work Overpriced
1. décor especially the framed music 'you made me love you' in the bathroom, and the brass saxophones on the walls! 2. window shutters 3. wonderful coffee machine in room 4. bottled water in fridge
1. very dusty feathery pillows (presumably new) 2. building noise outside 3. tricky bath plug
Best night's sleep in a hotel for years! Very comfortable and clean room, well laid out and quiet too! Great price for good sized continental (plus!) breakfast - most other places seem to charge the same as a 'cooked'.. Will DEFINITELY stay here again, no question!!
Pleasant efficient staff. Very clean. Convenient location.
There is no car park. A nearby multi-storey is locked at night giving secure parking at £12/day.
