Rooms clean and comfortable, we slept very good.
Tables in the restaurants need to be cleaned asap, they are very sticky, staff could be more friendly
I have called at the the New Inn previously but not stayed. I enjoyed my stay. The food and the service was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very attentive. Would definitely stay there again. Lorna Leeds
We came for a bit of quiet time after getting married. It was perfect! The staff were brilliant, welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Good was exceptional. Ales brewed on site lovely and tour of the brewery a must! Would come back! Lovely picturesque place and a short drive from Pickering which is gorgeous.
The young lady that booked us in was lovely, the meal we had in the evening was excellent!
No shower, just a bath with rubber shower attached to bath taps. Breakfast was very poor! Also that room was advertised at £60 and I was charged £85 if I had known that I would have complained the night before and insisted on another room because not in a million years was the room and the poor breakfast worth £85!!! It was my partners 40th birthday surprise, the only surprise was how poor it all was!
Great rooms (cottage) clean and modern excellent attention to detail. food very good and varied. staff very efficient and attentive. prompt service. brewery on site makes for good beer too
Service, efficiency, prices. Would like to have stayed longer.
Food excellent, especially the steak Good selection of beers and lagers produced at the brewery at the bottom of the garden, which were freely offered to taste. Cracking choice of breakfasts Very helpful and hospitable staff, especially as we were a bit late arriving.
The service and welcome fantastic, the atmosphere, comfort amazing, our room beautiful, clean and everything you possibly needed. Our meal and breakfast stunning. This was for our wedding anniversary and we will be going back next year.
Food excellent staff helpful and courteous
Lovely big garden area to sit in. They sell their own brand of beer/lager which was very good. Very comfy beds.
There are a lot of stairs as the building is on different levels so some people would find it difficult. Thought that the Restaurant menu would be different to the Bar menu.
The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely towels. Excellent bar food. Friendly helpful staff.
Everything ,food,beer,staff all great
The friendly Staff and the little public rooms, the bar the restaurant and of course the beer
The postcode took us to a village two miles away!
Everything was superb, from the warm reception to the fantastic New Inn breakfast - the cottage itself was stunning - wish we'd stayed longer !
Nothing - there was absolutely nothing to dislike !
Wonderful staff, helpful and caring. Wonderful restaurant food. Comfortable room and bed.
Stairs as I have MS with the resultant balance problems but that is my problem, not theirs.
Staff were lovely, prepared to go the extra mile. Location is beautiful and the room we stayed in had very comfy beds. Felt right at home and will go back for. Longer stay
Staff. Nice bedding. Willingness to rectify fault with tv.
Couldn't stand up in bathroom because of sloping roof. Small corner bath. Overall an awful bathroom. Guilt at keeping staff up if you want to come back late Rush to get everyone in and out in short time window for breakfast. Lock in until 8am because alarm was on. The labyrinth of the place. Used to staying in hotels hence aware of it's poor value for money.
Great food, clean accommodation, friendly staff & nice setting so highly recommended.
Food was of a good standard and came quickly, good value for money. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definately return
Menu although good was limited and were never offered a dessert.
Staff courteous and very helpful, great views and walks, all in all a very enjoyable stay.
More signage for the over 5'5"s to avoid banging your head
Shelly very helpful
Bump at top of drive getting on to the road
The friendly staff The food The beer Peace and quiet Brewery Tour All of it Excellent
Nice place evening meals and outdoor seating area were lovely Comfortable room, facilities as expected
Breakfast wasn't the best. Items on menu weren't available when requested such as grapefruit. I wanted a boiled egg but was told if possible it would be a very long wait. Let it down a bit. Walls are thin so could hear everything in next room tv etc
Unpretentious and friendly, with helpful staff. Loved the beer.
No faults, suited what we wanted.
Location, with easy access to the NYMR railway. Great local beers and good pub food. Friendly and accommodating staff
