Good location. Ten min quick walk from St Johns Wood tube but also a lovely 20 min walk across park to Camden Town/Regents Park. Nicely decorated rooms. Friendly staff. Small rooms (to be expected in London though). Could argue breakfast should be included for the price of the room, which could only really be used for sleeping rather than relaxing.

The New Inn was minutes from St Johns Wood High Street. We stayed for two nights between Christmas and New Year 2012. Perfectly placed for Regents Park canal, Primrose Hill and the underground station. The Inn had five guest rooms only, I was nervous about staying in a small establishment however, the stay could not have been better. The rooms were clean, tidy and modern, and the staff were attentive to our needs. Nick the propriator has the place `bang on`, the staff, the food for breakfast and all day super quality gastro food. The bar/restaurant have a great ambiance, daily newspapers neatly tabled for your use whilst sitting relaxing after a busy day exploring. The cocktail menu is great with special `bloody marys` that knock your socks off! Fantastic with a cheese board and a glass of special cider - what can better! There is a private locked entrance to the guest rooms which means you don`t need to pass through the bar if you don`t want to to get to your room. Your belongings are safe and secure. We would recommend the New Inn and the surrounding area, plenty of bars, shops and eateries for lunch and evenings. An up and coming establishment modern clean and welcoming. Special mention to the Fora Turkish restaurant close by - fantastic food, wine and staff too.

Great location for St John's Wood, Primrose Hill and Regent's Park, friendly staff and a lovely pleasant pub downstairs (though we didn't get a chance to try the food) complete with two lovable King Charles Spaniels.

An excellent stay! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The New Inn has recently come under new management and appeared to have been re-decorated recently. The room was comfortable and relaxing with an excellent shower and rather nice toiletries. A very enjoyable continental breakfast was served in a quiet and relaxing enviroment. The New Inn is situated in St. John's Wood and was very convenient for tube travel and for our function at Lords Cricket Ground that evening. We were able to walk to the venue - no need for a taxi. I would recommend the New Inn for anyone wishing to stay in the heart of London without the noise and traffic problems. St. John's Wood tube station was a 7/8 minute walk so excellent for getting to Bond St. or, indeed, anywhere in the centre of London. A really great choice!! Nothing we didn't like.

Nice staff, nice clean room & bathroom. After arriving from the airport it was great to be able to get a good meal downstairs and go straight to bed. All very straight-forward. The sunshine was blazing in our window in the morning even-though floods were expected. Internet kept failing in our room but worked fine downstairs. This however was not important for us.

The room was large and very clean with a big comfy bed. The pub itself was vibrant and fun and all in all a really good fun place to stay A touch pricey - £99 would have been better value and would encourage me to return

Loved the location in pretty St Johns Wood, right next to Regents Park. Also had a fabulous meal in the pub there. Staff was warm and friendly, and Nick is the best. Lots of nice little touches in the room.
