Absolutely loved the view from our room. The only down side was the windows didn't open. I wanted to hear the sounds of the ocean at night, and get some sea air as we slept.
The plus to this was what ever noise was outside, we didn't hear at all.
The air conditioning didn't work in our room, yet as soon as we reported it, 2 fans were supplied to us.
The breakfast was gorgeous and lots of variety.
Cleanliness of the whole.hotel was exceptional. I'm already planning out next trip, but with the kids this time.

A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.
Blackpool has everything family's need me and my hubby...
Blackpool has everything family's need me and my hubby walked from the grand Hotel which I would highly recommend by the way to stargate although it was busy the sun was shining on the way we stopped at the velvet coaster and had a pint on the terrace.

The beach was lovely and we really enjoyed taking daily walks up and down it.
They was high winds while we was there but we never allowed it to stop us, we wrapped up and made the most of the time we had in Blackpool.

Great place for kids. Can be expensive.
Great place for kids. Can be expensive. So I would recommend only suitable for a short trip. Such as a weekend or few days. My son loves Blackpool as everything on your doorstep. However entry fees can be pricey so bare this in mind and choose wisely when booking events and things to do. The staff are always friendly everywhere I've visited and we go down every Easter

We enjoyed our stay in Blackpool.
We enjoyed our stay in Blackpool. There are plenty of places to eat to suit all tastes. I would recommend the Ardwick pub. It's not far from the Blackpool tower. The beer, larger and stouts are £1.80 a pint.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The room had a modern décor and was spotless. the EnSite was slightly dated but still spotlessly clean. All the staff where friendly and helpful and the bar offered a good range of snack foods such as pizza, sandwiches and jacket potatoes which was ideal after a long day sightseeing. This hotel is very family friendly orientated, Myself and my Son both had amazing time will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Blackpool
as a lone traveller with 3 young child my main priority it making sure thier safe and comfortable i can say Lawton has been the best hotel in Blackpool we've stayed in, room was clean very quiet peaceful atmosphere, even at the bar familys sat if your looking for a place to stay and feel safe with children 100% recommended will be coming back again, breakfast was lovely my son can't eat dairy thier was options for him which is a bonus
This hotel is in a brilliant location with excellent sea views and close to the tram stop and with parking out the front, the staff were friendly and always on hand if needed, we had a triple room it was a good size comfy beds lovely big window for my daughter to sit at and watch Blackpool go by :) the decor is a little tired but for the price and location it didn’t affect our stay whatsoever, we would stay here again
Excellent central location with parking very close by. Cannot fault the hotel stay-or improve it in any way. So clean, orderly, well equipped and comfortable. Staff were brilliant and room was spacious. Many breakfast options in close proximity ,but very reasonable option for room service upon request . Highly recommended -it will be our absolute first choice for our next stay in Blackpool .
Great small hotel near the seafront at Blackpool South Pier, but on a quiet street. Clean and in good decorative order throughout. Tram stop just a few minutes' walk away. Well decorated bar area/lounge. Great cooked breakfast, in addition to cereal and orange juice. The owners couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, and great communication on the day of arrival.
Hotel in great location and great value for the money, stayed in the family room in July 2023 , the staff were so helpful and everything was ready for us coming. Staff lovely and kept making sure we had everything. Been going to blackpool for years , this has to be the best value for money hotel, I will definitely be booking here again. Also great location
While the room was more than a little aged and cramped and a hot shower was a gamble, the Walford more than made up for it with their very welcoming staff and superb breakfasts. Within a single morning, we all felt like family and were very well looked after. I’m sure I’m misspelling their names, but Lynne, Gary and Gail are some of Blackpool’s best!!
Excellent , clean , well presented hotel cannot fault The rooms where lovely and the owners where especially lovely too one of the best we stayed in Blackpool area definitely recommend and definitely be the 1st to ring to book next time we go Blackpool oh yes the breakfast was awesome highly recommended
Lots of room for the price, the place is huge compared to a hotel room at the same price. Dog friendly with no extra charge and great communication from the owner. The kitchen had everything needed to make a simple meal for two. Very central to all things Blackpool with zero street noise.
Fantastic stay at the Rowan hotel.Maddie & John were brilliant hosts professional but great fun as well. Breakfast was amazing quality and quantity. Parking easy and free. Location just off seafront, with a nice walk to the centre. Cannot wait to stay here again next time in Blackpool.
Best Hotel I've stayed in at Blackpool, me and my family go at least twice a year so weve stayed in quite a few. Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast was lovely and staff were also very kind and welcoming. 100% recommend this hotel. I'll definitely be using it again.
Excellent breakfast. Large, spotless clean room. Very spacious bathroom. Bonus table and 2 chairs for drinking coffee in the room too which we were not expecting. The best hotel we have ever stayed at in Blackpool. Will definitely be booking again. Excellent location.
The owners and staff were outstanding. They made such an effort to make me feel special for my birthday. The hotel room had everything, iron, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was delicious and great location to Blackpool attractions.
Lovely atmosphere. Owner very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean. Location was great. It’s definitely the best hotel my family and I have stayed in in Blackpool. Can not fault the place. would definitely stay here again.
Got to the hotel, there was a number on the front door to phone to be told the hotel was water logged, that they had sorted another hotel which was 2 miles out of Blackpool and had no option of breakfast.
Lovely hotel ,very clean and the staff are very friendly ,rooms are very nice ,location good ,close to everything ,breakfasts are very nice ,we will be staying here from now on when we visit blackpool
