My partner and I have recently returned from a trip to Jersey and the Norfolk Lodge Hotel, the hotel was V. central to St. Helier as advertised, the hotel staff were V. efficent and helpful in every respect, the accomadtion was V. clean and comfortable, the only complaint, and its only a small one, the floor boards over our room creaked, this did not particularly bother us but it may some people, the food was very good and bar food was available at a reasonable charge. I would feel the hotel was more suited to the slightly "older" clientelle and this is not a crititism, but the night life was certainly suited to the older age group and the hotel was quiet from lO.30. Every night. Trips, car hire and any other request we had was seen to quickly and with no fuss or bother. I would recommend the hotel and would return if we visist Jersey again.

Too much stair access and no lift which would be unhelpful for a less mobile person. If this could have been overcome it was apparently not raised in the booking process

Excellent location (handy for towncentre) and car parking. Staff and service very good. Top floor room we had could do with a bit of soundproofing to prevent noise from adjacent rooms.

The hotel is all it says on the pack, close to everything, nice, comfortable, good food.but its real asset is its staff.real profesionals always trying to do their utmost for you during your stay and top of the list is fernando the manager.fernando always goes out of his way to make time for all the guests.dont get him started on his funny stories or jokes.

the manager strives to improve quality service,by example.Always available, very friendly and willing to please. It showed up in his staff,s treatment of the guests. Nothing seemed a problem for them. The hotel is a typical 3 star, but the staff made it feel like 5 star.As one guest remarked after her 6th stay, "they make you feel so welcome, it,s like being at home with friends" and it does! quite a long 20 minute walk to the town centre, slightly downhill,so perhaps a problem for older people.

We loved the fact that everyone was very happy to help and knew who we were. Nothing was a bother for them and my daughter was very happy to go down to the lounge area alone, which was a big deal for her as she is not very confident, but the staff were so welcoming that she felt relaxed enough to do this. My Mum has a walking stick but everyone helped her to feel that nothing was an issue. We sat in your outside area by the bar for early evening drinks and could of been anywhere. It was only a short stay but we had the most relaxing time. The dinner was excellent, your Restaurant manager was amazing and spoke to our children and grandchildren as if he knew them. My Mum was hoping to stay with you in the autumn but you are closed, but she will stay at one of your sister hotels as you were fabulous.

Friendly staff, warm welcome, good facilities. Was very hot when I was there and the small single room I stayed in whilst adequate for what I paid was very warm. A fan would have been very welcome, air conditioning even better!!

It was comfortable and clean and good value. Breakfast was provided way too late for a Business traveller. Breakfast wasn't due to start until 8am. However when I got to restaurant at 8am there was a queue. The person in charge of the restaurant insisted on seeing everyone to their seat person by person which took 10 minutes. As I had a meeting in the centre of st. Hellier at 9am, 20 minutes walk away I had to leave my breakfast uncompleted.
