The Norfolk Lodge Hotel  

The staff were very nice .. always helpful especially Jody on reception and Angel always smiling and helpful. The food was excellent all of us enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel is all it says on the pack,close to everything,nice,comfortable,good food.but its real asset is its staff.real profesionals always trying to do their utmost for you during your stay and top of the list is fernando the manager.fernando always goes out of his way to make time for all the guests.dont get him started on his funny stories or jokes.

the manager strives to improve quality service,by example.Always available,very friendly and willing to please.It showed up in his staff,s treatment of the guests. Nothing seemed a problem for them. The hotel is a typical 3 star,but the staff made it feel like 5 star.As one guest remarked after her 6th stay, "they make you feel so welcome, it,s like being at home with friends" and it does!

quite a long 20 minute walk to the town centre,slightly downhill,so perhaps a problem for older people.

The staff accommodated our every need, including a room change on arrival as we were unable to use the stairs. This was done in a most pleasant way.

In a convenient location for the shopping areas in St Helier. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel had everything that we wanted and more.

Close to St Helier for shops and other attractions. Close to bus service for access to all areas of Jesey. Excellent food with good selection and variety at all mealtimes.Good friendly staff very obliging and helpful.

Room slightly dated and would benfit from upgrade especially to decor, fixtures and fittings

Although I stayed for three nights, I didn,t spend a lot of time in the hotel, as the purpose of my stay in Jersey was to spend as much time fishing, therefore I cannot make too many constructive comments about the hotel and it,s facilities, However I would say that during the brief time that I spent in the hotel, everything met with my requirements.

Excellent value for money

The choice of menus food was of good sized portions in the bar menu Prices in the bar menu were reasonable for what you got..Rooms were clean and tidy.Hotel staff were helpful and courteous relaxing stay.

The way you had to wait before breakfast was slow and ineffective.Ie had to wait for manager to allocate tables each morning.Food at breakfast buffet was not hot enough.

Staff were friendly & helpful

There was no fridge or iron in the rooms. The hotel is not very baby friendly as there was too many stairs around the hotel. Inside hotel you have to get to reception by going up 10 steps which is a lot of trouble with a buggy and then even to get to your room you have to go up 2 or 3 more steps and thru a lot of doors. There was a lift but you still have to use the steps as the hotel is all split levels.

Friendly staff, large rooms with good facilities, good resonably priced bar, with a good outdoor area

Evening meal was poor. Expensive for very little

We loved the fact that everyone was very happy to help and knew who we were. Nothing was a bother for them and my daughter was very happy to go down to the lounge area alone, which was a big deal for her as she is not very confident, but the staff were so welcoming that she felt relaxed enough to do this. My Mum has a walking stick but everyone helped her to feel that nothing was an issue.We sat in your outside area by the bar for early evening drinks and could of been anywhere. It was only a short stay but we had the most relaxing time. The dinner was excellent, your Restaurant manager was amazing and spoke to our children and grandchildren as if he knew them. My Mum was hoping to stay with you in the autumn but you are closed, but she will stay at one of your sister hotels as you were fabulous.
