Nice hotel a bit outside centre Very nice staff and great food Fine location, easy to catch bus 31 - 20 min. to the centre
My wife and I had a sleepless night due to a boiler clicking on and off all night long. Complained to a staff member in the morning whop told us he'd "tell the boss"....
Had a good laugh with the staff. Served food and drinks quickly and professionally. Lovely big room. Welcomed. Parking. Modern beautiful house and garden
Not much I'm afraid
No curtains in bedrooms Poor quality bedroom furniture Rooms need upgrading No teapots at breakfast Very overpriced
- Staff were more than accomodating towards me, allowed me an offroad location to keep my motorcycle. - Good sense of humour throughout, recommended me places to go whilst it was raining - Modern looking room inc w/c facilities - Fire alarm did go off at 5.45am ! due to a fault, although fire-brigade turned up in minutes (so response times are good) for the in-convinience myself & other guests were offered dinner that evening completely free of charge, as they couldnt apologise enough.
Friendly staff. Large room with great bathroom. Free parking with easy access by bus to town centre. Food at hotel very good.
The fact we couldn't stay longer. In other words, we could find nothing to fault about this hotel.
Friendliness and efficiency of staff.
Breakfast between 8am and 9.00 am a little early when you're wanting a relaxing break. 9.30 am would give more time.
friendly staff good breakfast it's got pretty much everything you need good value for money
breakfast not included fire alarm went off at 4am too loud in the morning
Quiet, open windows at night, high ceilings, roomy, accessible to buses
A little far out
Close to where we needed to be in Edinburgh. Charming and comfortable.
My wife did not like the tiny shower. I thought that it was fine.
Staff were great and very helpful. Room was good size and comfortable.
Not much all good.
No hair dryer
Staff were very friendly and meals were good
A peaceful place within 30 mins drive from the city. Very polite and helpful staff. Clean and safe place with fully functional wifi.
Liked the location as it was easy excess into Edinburgh The.bus ran frequently with stops both going and returning right outside the hotel, Staff were very friendly. breakfasts were good too.
friendly staff and quiet atmosphere
The wifi service in the rooms upstairs weren't excellent.
Not bad value for money, considering the time of year. More of an 'Inn' than a hotel. A restaurant and bar with rooms rather than hotel with a lobby and reception. The room was fine, though the decor was rather tired. TV and kettle were modern but otherwise needs a bit of sprucing up. Wi Fi was excellent and plenty of car parking space.
Terrible water pressure in the shower! Being an electric one, to get a decent temperature the flow had to be very poor. If you wanted a decent flow, the temperature was then poor; ie cold!! Just passable for one night!
On direct bus route into city centre, quiet suburb. Easy access off ring road.
Although there were vertical blinds on both bedroom windows, woken in the early hours by the sunlight coming through. Would have been better with curtains as well or blackout blinds.
Breakfast and evening meal were excellent.
Shower was a bit small or maybe I am just a bit to big.
good stuff clean room. Strong wifi.
Too far away from city centre. Too far away! Seriesly indeed!
We need to borrow a hair dryer from reception but there is no one can help us after 10pm. It will be prefect if there is a hair dryer in our room.
Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful especially after a long drive. Room was excellent and had no problem logging on to the free wifi. Hotel restaurant was great and again staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.
It was just a little further away from the airport than I would have liked.
Staff were excellent and transport links into city were very good. We had an evening meal which was good value for money. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they even provided a microwave in my room so i could have porridge before the Edinburgh Marathon.
Personable people, good location just on edge of city, bigger rooms and bathroom, was good value for money
Bed was OK but only just
Modern room Cleanliness Restaurant downstair
Shower room was poor. Water temperature can't be control and flow very slowly. A little bit far from city center but bus stop is at front of the hotel
