Location was a little way off the main road.
Most of it
Pleasant stay, the stairs are a little tricky, but worth climbing as rooms are clean and comfortable. Top quality food and helpful staff.
Being out in the coach house - dated and not very comfortable. Noise from the garage next door. Staff were a bit unfriendly. No one explained the facilities - we only found out there was a lounge on the last day. Food we wanted had run out at lunch time.
Food, the breakfast was excellent The room was thoroughly cleaned everyday
Checking in at the bar on a weekend night A little on the expensive side
Food, service, friendliness, breakfast
Uncomfortable bed, hard pillows, flaking paint in bathroom, sash window not sliding properly
Comfortable Good breakfast
Clean, comfortable room.
What used to be a reasonable pub with accommodation is now an establishment with pretensions.
Great food and drink.
Staff were helpful and friendly Food was fantastic Comfy beds and mod cons
Staff friendly, very helpful, ready to assist with anything needed. Food in restaurant is freshly prepared and excellent.
The staff were nice, polite and helpful. The evening meal was nice. It was a well located b&b
The bed was extremely uncomfortable - you could feel the springs through the mattress. The TV was tiny and the shower was pitiful and only worked on a medium heat. The cooked breakfast was of very poor quality - the worst we've had for a long time.
Friendly staff Excellent food Free WiFi Excellent location Characterful room
Slightly shabby decor Stains on lovely old wooden furniture
Convenient location to walk into town with lots of parking. Very comfy bed and everything to make us comfortable.
We ate in the lounge and the food was fine; but we felt a little over charged for the food - would definitely stay again but would dine elsewhere if on a budget.
friendly helpful staff and food was excellent.
The stairs were narrow & there were steps down to our bathroom. The bathroom needed a bit of refurbishment.
Food was excellent. Bed was comfortable if a bit small.
Room was too hot.

Service, Quality and Ambience
Great location right on the main street of Hay on Wye. Very quaint B&B low ceilings and creaky slopping floors. Superb food in restaurant bar. Friendly and helpful staff.
Tiny shower cubicle.
The warm welcome and attentiveness of staff. Both breakfast and evening meal were excellent. We were also able to leave the car after booking out which was very useful.
lovely old furniture in the room, good shower, very helpful staff, car park
cannot think of anything
The friendliness of the staff, they were very attentive. We thought the food was excellent and very enjoyable.
The bath towels were a bit small
