The Old Church is situated in the Ayrshire village of Muirkirk. With stunning countryside views, it offers home-cooked food, rooms with free Wi-Fi, and free parking. Rooms at the Old Church all feature TVs, DVD players and DVD libraries. Rooms also have bathrobes, free toiletries, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Free mineral water and fresh flowers are also provided. Traditional Scottish breakfasts, whisky pancakes and homemade breads are served every morning. Evening meals are available and a gourmet buffet can also be prepared for guests. There is a comfortable lounge with a log-burning stove, an iPod docking station and a good selection of books. The hotel can store bikes and golf clubs for guests. The guest house is set in a converted Victorian church, and offers wonderful views across Ayrshire. There are several golf courses in the area, and fishing, hiking and cycling are also available. Fantastic place to stay, the owners more than friendly. This converted old church it is the best place where I stayed. Breakfast delicios, the ensuite room massive size. Do not avoid this place, I will highly recomend.

We had an enjoyable evening and dinner there. Food out of this world. The suite was enormous very comfortable and spotless the bathroom excellent. This B&B should have 5 stars not 4 as its excellent. Cant rate it high enough. We were travelling on the next day and breakfast was to say the least substantial with choice being never ending. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts and the welcome is superb. The only thing ans a small one at that is maybe it should be 'said' that if you want wine with your evening meal you should bring it as it's unlicensed. But that's nit picking rally. But the dinner is superb without wine.

We spent over a month in the UK. This stay was our biggest mistake. Our mistake was believe the reviews. We arrived early. It was made very clear to us we were not welcome until 4pm and no earlier. We then wasted the next five hours driving in heavy rain. We came back at 5pm. With an ice cream comb in hand we were shown our tiny room sans ensuite bath. We were the only guest booked. We were told to place our breakfast orders within the hour. We never felt comfortable. I believed they would just soon have us ring the bell, hand them 75 pounds, then depart. If you go for the church gimick, by all means, have at it. It is in the middle of nowhere.

The house is lovely, our room was spacious, comfortable and attractive. Our hosts were delightful, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious.

Very welcoming and friendly. Gourmet evening meal and breakfast. Don't eat for two days before you arrive as Lesley will serve you wonderful five star goodies in ample portions! That we had to leave after two nights.

Beautiful room,home & people ! Leslie & David made us very welcome & our room was large,light & delightful. Breakfast was to die for & we would highly recommend that visitors book dinner at The Old Church in advance. We were not aware that this was possible & therefore had to eat elsewhere. It smelt amazing ! Would love to stay again.

The owners are lovely people who made us feel right at home. They cooked a fantastic breakfast in the morning - with home made bread yum yum. I would recommend staying in this quirky b&b!

Une maison merveilleuse avec des volumes étonnants, une grande chambre et une salle de bain équipée luxueusement. Des hôtes charmants avec qui nous avons pu bien discuter. L'hôtel est un peu perdu dans une toute petite bourgade et nous aurions du arriver plus tôt pour mieux profiter de cette merveilleuse maison et commander un repas sur place car il n'y a pas grand chose pour diner aux alentours. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. Vraiment une maison extraordinaire.

Once in side the Old Church was delightful; Having to share a bathroom, having a small bedroom, only a small mirror on the wall which was so high it was not easy to use; enormous portions of food, which was delicious but there was just too much of it.
