Comfortable room..great food...very accommodating staff. Brilliant location.
Sometimes intermittent wifi
No frills rooms Lacks character like other similar B&B. Parking difficult.
Location and the hostess Sue.
Ideally placed. Friendly atmosphere. will definately return
Nothing to dislike
Friendly greeting, very good breakfast
The twin room a bit cramped - though still good value
Very clean, good breakfast
Location very central, good breakfast, good WiFi, friendly staff.
Room 1 was a bit small and we were cold. The heating hadn't been on before we arrived and it took a while to warm up. We had friends in another room upstairs which was much bigger and warmer.
Fabulous location, within walking distance of all shops and amenities in Bowness. Bus stop directly outside the property. Warm welcome by Sue. Clean and comfortable room. No complaints and I'm fussy. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
Sue was a fount of information about the local area. Very friendly & couldn't do enough to help. Rooms very comfortable with very good facilities. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the rest of the day. Wouldn't hesitate to return!
Nice quiet room. Friendly people. Excellent breakfast choice. Will be going back. A++
Delicious breakfast! Friendly staff Central location Comfy bed
Nothing - we loved our stay
The best night's sleep one can ever hope to have at a courthouse! The location of the place could not be any better, being placed right there on the high-street. Inside, the quirky and comfy courthouse was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast, out of this world! A wonderful base camp for a short break, will definitely stay again.
Friendly staff, great breakfast and lovely room would recommend to my friends and will return
The showers were freezing cold unless the shower was run for 15 minutes
Great position. Able to park. Lovely breakfast.
Location excellent Friendly staff Clean room Good breakfast
The Rain (haha)
Super breakfast, anything you want you can have. Good efficient service. Some good restaurants on doorstep and a good Cinema showing new films.
The rain !!!!!
The location is fine. You can park your car only if there are not many visitors
The rooms are below par. For 70 pounds a night it is way too expensive.I dont know how these many people have given a good rating. May be we are not British to get a friendly treatment. The staff are not friendly. Please avoid this place. There are many other places to stay in Winder mere.
Everything about it,location, cleanliness, comfort, lovely staff and great breakfasts.
nothing to dislike !!
Friendly hosts.Cosy rooms.Hearty breakfast and decent parking which is a big plus in the area.Close to many restaurants and pubs.Lake windermere just down the hill.
Can hear traffic from main road during night and early morning. After a day out not everyone would appreciate walking up the hill.
Very Welcoming, a lovely place and great breakfast.
Sweeteners were not made available only sugar.
The location was great. Near places to eat and the ferry. Staff was friendly.. Having a car space.
The car parking was tight but nothing can be done because of the size of the property. Still glad to be able to park.
Excellent location, comfortable room, comfortable bed, high standard of cleanliness, lovely breakfast (wonderful fruit salad!). Extra parking just outside.
Bit of a tight squeeze on the little car park but we appreciated the fact that we could park there.
Nicely located on the outskirts of town so not too far to walk home from pubs. Cinema with 3 screens next door. Friendly staff
Shower not powerful enough Bed squeaky Breakfast served from 8:45 - earlier would have been better
