Great base for a stay in Snowdonia on a lovely stretch of coast. Very welcoming hosts running a quality B&B. Comfortable, great food and the little touches that are remembered (Wine & Chocs for Valentines)
Do not be put off by the narrow track access as the views & peaceful location are worth it. The small double room is small but none the less comfortable. We know to book earlier to secure the larger rooms when we come back again.
Thoughtfulness and friendliness.
Just couldn't get wi fi to work.
All of it.
Nothing to dislike.
Tim and Sally were very welcoming and did a great cooked breakfast! Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is really good too, close to Barmouth, Portmerion etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.
we travelled with our dog and the couple who own the farmhouse were very friendly and accommodating we also liked the breakfast were all the guests sat on one table so we all chatted great idea
Clean, comfortable, warm room with lovely decor and little extras to make it a bit special. We were greeted on arrival by our hosts Tim and Sally.
From our arrival to departure Tim and Sally made this a "perfect Stay"
The owners were friendly, attentive and truly switched-on to how to run a bed and breakfast 'hotel'!! Very comfortable accomodation and amazing scruptious breakfasts!
There was nothing to dislike!
Lovely position - ideal for touring the central wales area. Very friendly owners - you are made to feel as house guests, rather than just b & b clients. Also, lovely breakfasts to set you up for the day.
Nothing to dislike.
Comfortable but a little chilly. Very pleasant & attentive hosts - most helpful & accommodating throughout.
A little cold & location not quite a farm as expected - name a little misleading & lacking in old atmosphere due to modern rebuild.
Everything was just perfect :) Breakfast superb.
The ease of parking, the wonderful breakfasts and the delightful hosts. How nice it was to arrive after a fairly long journey to such a welcome, it made us feel at home straight away. A nice, quiet and lovely cottage to stay in.
We found it a little difficult to find because the expectation from the photos in the brochure is that it is located in the countryside. Actually it is but to get to it you have to go through a bit of a housing estate before finding what must have been the old farm track. Possibly the Council does not like a lot of signage!
Stunning place to stay, everything was of very high standard the room was cosy and very well presented, the breakfast was delicious and tim and Sally made us feel very welcome I would stay again and I've already recommended to family and friends
Very comfortable accommodation. We enjoyed a much needed break, Bed and breakfast were very nice :-)
Our room was a double room and you could just walk around the bed. Although the area is very nice it was very busy, I know its August but we did think we may find a nice quiet spot but we didn't manage to in this area.
There is nothing I didn't love about my stay, as I left the main road up to the farmhouse I started to relax. Meeting Sally and Tim was a pleasure, I was up too early to have breakfast but was presented with a tray, of cereal and fruit so I would drive fully fed.
the surroundings were great and the rooms very comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi area were great too
The opening times of the pool meant were were not able to use the facilities. The farmhouse advertised an early breakfast, if needed, to accomodate tee times or meeting times but when we asked this was refused. They did however offer some cereal that we could take to our room the night before but the tariff remained the same.
The stay as a whole was great! Drove up to a warm welcome and shown to our room.. loved that there was an info guide that helped us choose somewhere for tea! Breakfast was fab and the farm itself was stunning!
Only thing was the road up to the farm. It is very well signposted so easy to find the farm however perhaps the addition of 'one track road' would be good as we weren't ready to meet a car coming towards us with no room for maneuver for us both meaning we had to reverse all the way down.
Very friendly welcome from Tim and Sally. Thoroughly enjoyed their swimming pool and hot tub. Lovely comfy bed. Pleasant breakfast with excellent service. Owners were very helpful and informative about what to do in area.
Wonderful, helpful, friendly hosts. Beautiful room, would love to try an annexe next time. Set in a beautiful location, felt very welcome.
comfort, hosts, food,
Hottub too close to property (so limited late night use - we were back too late each night to use it.).
We really liked the area that the B&B was in.
A big welcome awaits you at the The Old Farmhouse, Sally and Ian were most welcoming and made us very comfortable, next visit we will make use of the hot tub and pool in the beautiful gardens.A beautiful breakfast set us up for the day after a restful night in our big comfy bed.
The kindess of the owners. A wide room, very well designed. A lot of details. For instance: fresh bottle of water for the clients.
Everything it was all just perfect, looking forward to returning. book it you will love it
