Good location, friendly people, nice breakfast, cosy room. Be a solo traveller, you have to share table with other guests for breakfast.

Very welcoming - hosts were very interested in their guests and attentive to their needs. A little bit off the beaten track, but therefore relaxing and quiet, and in a a very very pretty area. Far too cold to sample the outdoor pool and hot tub unfortunately (April!) but a nice touch. Thanks to Tim and Sally.

The warmth of our welcome; the quality of the accommodation; the views from our room; the excellent breakfasts; the healthy packed lunches and they were genuinely dog friendly. There was nothing to dislike.

Charming and friendly welcome - Tim and Sally are instantly engaging. Even the dog came to say 'hello' when we arrived. The room was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and served in a beautiful room. The shower had poor water pressure - despite the bathroom being very well- appointed!

The owners Tim & Sally are just a delight. We walked Snowdon on New Years Eve and needed to leave very early, as we were missing Breakfast Tim & Sally left us cereals, fruit, milk and energy bars out. The rooms are wonderful and have excellent little touches such as wine on arrival and chocolates. New Years Day breakfast was wonderful, the other guests, breakfast and the hosts were fantastic. Tim, Sally and the Old Farmhouse are quite simply in a league of their own and as a real bonus our Weimeraner was with us, as The Old Farmhouse is dog friendly. Whoever you are and whatever your reason for staying at The Old Farmhouse, you wont be disappointed. Before going, we read on a review that the odd guest made a reference to driving through a housing estate to reach The Old Farmhouse - well thats a nonsense as half a dozen houses doesnt constitute a housing estate. An absolutely faultless and memorable stay. Mr & Mrs Thompson (Hampshire) Whats not to like!

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. We were immediately upgraded us to one of the very pleasant "garden rooms" on arrival, as we were the only guests at the time. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. A hot tub is avalible to use but we didn't find the time this visit! The location allows easy exploration of the surrounding countryside, mountains and beaches and some nice villages and castles are a short car journey away. We really enjoyed the food in the "Last Inn" in Barmouth. Overall a great relaxing visit.

Lovely setting. Quainter than an antique rocking horse wrapped in a floral curtain. Tim and Sally v. Friendly and welcoming. Cracking brekkie - with a choice of eggs and a brain-teaser. The only down side I can think of is it's proximity to pubs. There is one a 5 minute walk away but the rest are 20-30 mins walk.
