There was plenty of hot water with good pressure

you had to pay separately for an internet connection - the connection speed was not very good and it wasn't available throughout the hotel. There was inadequate lighting in my room. Mattress was thin.

There's not much around it you it's to far to walk to other pubs , shops ,restaurant

Excellent value for money, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast supberb and we had an evening meal which was equally as good. Would definately stay there again.

Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Staff very welcoming. Nice village, only 10 minute drive to business meeting the following day. Excellent breakfast.

Shame no Sky Sports! (I'm sure not everyone will agree!) Disappointed that the only hand pull real ale was not available.

The room was comfortable and very quiet despite being accross from the Inn itself. Good power shower. The food was good and the helpings were large. We ate in the Inn the three nights we stayed rather than travel into town.

The bath towels are a bit on the small side. I was disappointed in the location of the Inn but it would be good for business people travelling to the west coast

This hotel pride itself of 4 stars. Room facilities/en suite facilities and room itself is worth max. 3 stars. Restaurant and ability to serve hotel customers is low as restaurant bookings are required (hotels must be able to serve thier custommers) also max 3 stars. Food and quality is reasonable but also this must be considered as a max 3 star hotel. All together a reasonable hotel choice but not worth its 4 star pride. Thank you. Torben B. Only stayed one night but could not fault anything. The Inn is very easy to find in a small, quiet village. Hotel rooms are situated in a courtyard setting across from the Inn with plenty of parking available.My room (35) had recently been refurbished and was very large, spotlessly clean and modern. Flatscreen TV in room with freeview channels. The bathroom had a bath (hurray!) as well as a powerful shower over the bath. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and my lunch, eaten in the bar, was also very acceptable. I can thoroughly recommend The Old Ginn House.

A nice large airy room very clean and comfortable beds, a good size bathroom, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nice coutyard and easy parking, a well stocked bar and a good choice of food and a small but comfortable lounge with a choice of books and games.

Only downside was an old ginn house steak, I ordered medium rare and got rare, as the steak was full of sinew it made it very tough to eat, we also ordered a smaller portion of a meal and it was very small but tasteful and veg and chips were spot on.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was really nice.

Very comfortabe, clean, modern rooms. There are tea & coffee making facilities in room which is something that a lot of hotels do not do. The food is fanatastic with a full, and I mean full, English breakfast. The reception and bar areas are very warm and inviting. We have stopped there 3 times now and will stop again when we are next in the area. Our friends, to whom we recommended the hotel, were very impressed and said they would definately stop there again.

If you have missed the set meal times, the kitchen staff are a little reluctant to make you even a plain sandwich outside those times.
