it was nice and location was good - quality of many aspects good too - pillows were disappointing. Good view from our room. Great to have small fridge -appreciated that. Good bed. Clean and well maintained. If people park well all residents cars are able to be off road. Found great food at one of the old and characterful pubs.

Absolutely a gem of a location and a great place to stay. Brilliant value for money. Lovely fire in the snug area and spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Josh, the barman is a nice guy, but all of the staff are super friendly and helpful. All staff go above and beyond to make you welcome, and they really care for their guests, making sure you have everything they need. The lady doing the breakfast service was really attentive and caring. Food is fantastic with large servings and only suggestion I can offer is to have a few more traditional pub type meals on the menu and a few less upmarket ones but we still had a great meal. Will definitely be back.

Clean, very welcoming and homely. We had a lovely nights stay, room was spacious, comfortable bed, everything you need and a fab en-suite. The breakfast was fantastic, My husband said it was the best he’s had and he has had a few. Look forward to returning, Lynette and David were the perfect hosts.
