“ the inn was very quirky, loads of character. The bathrooms were fantastic, beds really comfortable and huge! Staff were helpful and had alot of time for their customers, which is a good attribute. Would certainly stay again. ”

Situated just 10 minutes’ drive from London Gatwick Airport, The Old House Inn features free on-site parking and a mature garden. Rooms are located in a converted barn and offer super king-size beds, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are named after local woods, and also include a hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. Home-cooked breakfasts, fresh pastries and fruit salad are served each morning, and guests can also enjoy a variety of classic British dishes and finer dining amidst a country pub atmosphere. The seaside town of Brighton is less than an hour’s drive away and features a large pier full of family entertainment. The National Trust property of Wakehurst Place is a 12-minute drive and includes a 16th-century country house and a mainly 20th-century garden. Food was excellent and waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom were large and quiet. Bed comfortable. Breakfast not available before 8.30 at weekend, but manager made us coffee and cereal. Room only had 1 chair, so nowhere for 2 people to sit except on bed. No plug socket near a mirror so difficult for ladies to dry hair? No advice on the hotel information web page that we needed to book a table for dinner, but theymanaged to find us a table in the 'snug', but we had to finish by 9pm.

Raj made us feel most welcome, as did all the staff. the room was very modern, tastefully decorated and the super king bed very comfortable. although breakfast was very slow it was well worth the wait. thank you. The old house hotel is very expensive for food, drinks and accomadation, however it wouldn,t put us off staying again.

15 minutes environ de l'aéroport de Londres Gatwick (mais attention à la circulation le matin, qui peut être très dense !). Etablissement tenu par un jeune couple aimable et enthousiasmé pour leur nouveau métier, mais qui ont quelques questions pratiques à maîtriser. Chambre correcte, cuisine bonne mais cher. Service au petit déjeuner très lent. Quelques problèmes avec la douche mais qui seront certainement réparés par le propriétaire.
