This award-winning Victorian guest house is set in the spa town of Buxton, 5 minutes’ walk from the market square. It offers attractive en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfasts. Bright rooms at The Old Manse have a modern design with period features. All include a flat-screen TV, a hospitality tray, a desk and seating area and a hairdryer. The Old Manse's award-winning breakfast includes cereals and juices, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and pastries, followed by a full English breakfast or various cooked options. Special dietary requirements can be catered for and the property offers an early takeaway breakfast, from 07:30. The Old Manse is 10 minutes’ walk from The Pavillion and Opera House and just 15 miles from Chatsworth House in Buxton. Pooles Cavern, a natural limestone cave, is 1 mile away. The property is well located for exploring the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. The Old Manse has free parking and secure bicycle storage and is 10 minutes’ walk from Buxton Train Station.

The Old Manse Guest House is centrally located in Buxton, Derbyshire offering bed and breakfast accommodation, ideally situated for exploring the Peak District National Park and Derbyshire Dales. This high quality Guesthouse offers great value accommodation. Situated in a quiet tree lined street with free parking and only a 5 minutes walk to the market square where you will find an array of pubs and restaurants. The spa town of Buxton is known for its spring water, Victorian architecture, Opera House and stunning Pavilion Gardens. Both only a short walk from the guest house. Attracting tourists from all over the world, with cultural events throughout the year. A few of which being the Four-Four Time Festival in February, The Buxton Festival and The Fringe in July and Family Festival in August and Walking Festivals from April until October. Located in the beautiful Peak District with stunning walks and bike rides for all ages and abilities. The many natural attractions of the Peak District are within easy reach, and so is Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers for those young or young at heart!
When we are not busy in the Guest House we like to go to the theatre, out for lunch or off on a long walk with our black Labrador puppy Nayvee.

Both only a short walk from the guest house. Buxton is one of most popular tourist destinations in the Peak District famed for its natural spring water and Georgian architecture. The town was founded by the Romans, but it was the fifth Duke of Devonshire who put Buxton on the map with development in 1780s – the centrepiece being the Georgian Crescent
