The menu was extremely imaginative and always cooked just for you! The hotel is a listed building and there are many of the original features inside. The staff - all of them - were super! They were friendly, efficient and charming. |

The room was very nice and the people very friendly. Breakfast was very good. The evening dinner was a little less, you have to shower in the bath, no shower cabin. |

Excellent staff, a small but superb atmosphere with a good selection of reasonably priced food and wine. |Breakfast was a limited selection but once again good quality. I would have preffered a bath to a shower alyhough there was lots of hot water. |

Food was delicious. Helpful staff. Really nice decor. The room was a bit cool but we prefered that to being too hot like a lot of hotels! |

Excellent food, friendly staff and the room was lovely Didn't have a great night's sleep due to the road outside being quite noisy, but this was the only negative point and was minor in the grand scheme of things |

The room was delightful, the hotel itself was excellent. The staff were efficient and attentive but not overbearing. The food at the hotel was also excellent. |

I am so impressed with this place, I recommend it 100%. I have stayed a few times on now but this is the first time I have written a review. The owners have put together a fantastic business, great food, friendly bar and smart rooms. I paid 79.00 for my room and the most enormous breakfast which I think is brilliant value for money. I must add that the Bar prices are not expensive - earlier review |
