Comfort of the bar/restaurant area. The staff were very helpful and the food was lovely.
Welcome was lovely Staff really friendly and helpful Room stunning Food delicious
Nice atmosphere in the bar area, food ok. Our waiter was very good. Staff nice and friendly.
Upon booking I requested a quiet room but ended up with a room facing onto the main road. I realised the Inn was on a busy road but thought we would be accommodated at the rear of the property The bed was really uncomfortable, room very hot, had to have the window open all night. As the Inn is on an extremely busy road, traffic noise also kept me awake all night long.
We only stayed one night, the staff were really friendly the hotel had a lovely relaxing atmosphere very clean and tidy We loved the modern finishing touches this hotel had thought of everything even an iron and ironing board and a docking station for my I phone small things mean a lot The evening meal was delicious and really well presented
There was no air con and our room was really warm, but to be fair it was warm outside
Staff & management excellent, food and ambience very good. Pity the weather did not allow us to sit in the beautiful gardens.
Bacon I understand it was locally sourced and cured but it was tough as both a main course and breakfast - pity all I can fault
The owner and staf were excellent and clearly took pride in their service. The owner went out of his way to organise a room for my family members who came at the last minuite.
Easy to get to. Room was beautiful, clean with good facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was superb! We ate in the restaurant both nights and the choice and quality were to be commended.
The noise from the main road during rush hour but wouldn't deter us from returning.
Staff, food and room
The room was beautiful, whole hotel immaculate and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food we had in the restaurant in the evening was good quality, imaginative and well priced. Came down in the morning to a totally unexpected full vegan cooked breakfast which is a great start to the day and was really appreciated. Best hotel we stayed at in our month in the UK. Highly recommended.
The room was very comfortable and included some nice touches like a dressing gown and slippers. The person on reception in the morning was good and the young guy behind the bar in the evening was as well.
Disappointed with the meal in the evening. Starter was ok but my rack of lamb main course was probably one of the worst value meals I've ever had. £22 for 3 bits of very poor quality meat and some veg. The lamb was mostly fat. I would have complained if I was asked but no-one sought my feedback. Also for a hotel to only start offering cooked breakfast from 8am is a bit poor. That said you could have continental from 7am. Finally my shower door in the bathroom was filthy and really needs a proper clean.
The freindly staff and comfort of the hotel as a lone female traveler. Great restaurant menu ...
We had a faboulous night at the Old Orleton Inn, attention to detail at this boutiqe hotel was perfect. The evening meal was also the best we have had in ages.
Nice room, well equipped and comfortable - a very pleasant stay
the food was a little over priced
Great food, attention to detail and friendly staff.
Personal touch, being at home feel, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, historical building
Shower head from Bath taps only without wall mount or shower curtain. Evening bath with warm water. Road side room so could not have windows open on a warm night.
Very nice breakfast
The building and surroundings, location, staff attitude, room layout and furniture, breakfast
nothing displeased me at all
excellent chef. Owners were truly interested and helpful, and present.
Style of hotel, staff attention, good food, friendly atmosphere
Was made to feel very much at home.
Lovely rooms. Large shower
Rest of bathroom small
Our third stay here and as always, great food, a warm welcome, a comfortable room, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere were readily available. We had to leave early on Easter Sunday so couldn't make breakfast but when we came down to check out we found two bags each containing: a fresh bacon sandwich, a bottle of orange juice and a bottle of water, a croissant and a brioche, a pot of marmalade, a small cheese and cutlery waiting for us! Unbelievably accommodating and on Easter morning! You can't beat this place.
The breakfast is amazing.
Unfortunate problem with hot water for shower when I stayed as there was an air lock in the hot water system but fixed by owners. Breakfast was superb. I would use hotel again certainly. DU
