The house is beautifully restored and our room was a lovely size with a stunning bathroom.
It was quite a long steep walk to the town/restaurants. The chairs in the dining room could be more comfortable with cushions.
Nicely situated old house with large ensuite rooms as well as common areas. Great homemade breakfast choices. Easy walk into town and/or up to the bluffs for a a view of the sunset over the ocean. Run by two very nice, very helpful ladies. Kudos.
Wireless signal in our room was spotty, but we were told that this problem would be corrected over the winter lull.
The welcome the caring attitude of the owners.Food excellent. Cleanliness.
Morag and Margaret - perfect hosts in every way and nothing was too much trouble for them. Attention to detail in accommodation and food was second to none. An atmosphere of calm and tranquility prevailed despite there being a full house! Would love to return one day.
Having to leave !
The old Parsonage is presented beautifully and it's location is perfect for a peaceful break near the sea. The hosts added to the relaxed atmosphere and catered for all our requests. The room (standard) was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast included an extensive menu with a choice of fresh homemade bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, locally produced apple juice and homemade jam. The nearby church led to fantastic sea views from a coastal path. The nearest pub (Napoleon Inn) offered a good range of food with excellent service. The walk into Boscastle is very steep but only takes 15 minutes. We would like to visit the Old Parsonage again.
The quietness and tranquility of the Old Parsonage which was situated above Boscastle and the beautiful coastal walks beyond the Church.
Sharing a table with our couples at breakfast time.
Excellent room, food and made very welcome from the time we arrived. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying there.
just everything Location Staff BREAKFAST room ...... and everything else
Owners Morag & Margaret, made you feel at home, greeted with tea & cake on arrival. Superb large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and all mod cons. . Fresh milk and water available any time from fridge at bottom of stairs. Lovely feel to house and gardens and were never disturbed by other guests as in your room it was very peaceful & calm. Lovely breakfasts with as many choices as you could wish for cereals/ fruit and everything from a full English to a poached egg. Enjoyed sitting with other guests for breakfast as you could swap the previous days itinerary and share in today's plans. A wonderful 4 day break and we hope to return next year.
Nothing, only having to leave.
Loved everything. Spent my birthday there and was extra special. So quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Really felt like we'd had a relaxing break when we got home. Brilliant hosts, attention to detail with everything. Can't wait to go back
The hills are a killer, make sure you take your oxygen mask! LOL
The relaxed atmosphere and the willingness of Margaret and Margo to be as helpful as possible. The outlook from our bedroom was very soothing

Shared tables at breakfast
Absolute comfort of bedroom and en-suite. breakfasts fabulous. Lots of little extras like courtesy bar etc.
Nice house in good location with helpful owners who are friendly but not over powering.
Not the biggest fan of sharing table at breakfast not my most sociable time of the day.
Absolutely everything! The staff were lovely, greeting us with a hot drink and served it in the garden. The room was lovely, the breakfast was fantastic (I wish I could get my french toast that scrumptious!) and the location is so peaceful. It's exactly what we needed.
Nothing! Loved every minute of our stay. Just wish it could have been for longer!
location view from room peaceful unhurried Morag and margaret friendly and helpful. Will return
We loved our stay at the Old Parsonage in every way. Gracious and helpful hosts, delicious breakfasts, beautiful bedroom and lovely location.
Can't think of anything!
The bed The skap, Nice smell To share tables for breakfast
It was good to have a cup of tea and home-made cake when we arrived. The room was nice and roomy. The breakfast was excellent and home-made bread and preserves made breakfast special. Margaret and Morag were both lovely ladies and the house and garden were delightful. The location was excellent and we enjoyed our walk via the church to Boscastle.
My wife would have liked a dressing table to put on her make-up and blow dry her hair and found it difficult in the room next to the bathroom as the light was dim and she could not see what she was doing. This area could be made into a nice place with a bit of thought.
High quality, attractive and spacious accommodation. Excellent access to cliff top walks with spectacular views. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We liked that the location was so close to historic Forrabury Church and the coastal trail. Our hosts were great and so accommodating. They even sent belongings that we left. The breakfasts were the best we have had and it was quiet and tranquil. There recommendations for dining were right on.
I can't think of a thing.
