Clean bedding, comfortable, quaint, welcoming
Price for a very small vegetarian breakfast was expensive, bit of an unpleasant smell in the rooms and landing area
Bed Food Bar Staff WiFi Location
Directions on print out were inaccurate, the Hotel is not in Wing, but in nearby Glaston/Gleeston. Post code is correct.
staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful
Everything other than the location.
Very good food
Bookikng.com got the address wrong they said it was in the village of Wing and it was actually in the village of Glaston. Because of this we had difficulty finding it when it was really very easy as it was on the A47.
The steak was great. Friendly barman, good overnight stop.
Breakfast left a little to be desired.
The evening meal was very nice
The springs in the mattress sticking in my back and rib cage. The remote for the TV did not work so everything had to be done on TV. Would have liked a proper bar of soap in bathroom.
A basic, budget priced room, quite comfortable and acceptable.
The only sitting area was busy and noisy.
A good location for visiting towns in the area
Breakfast using local produce was very nice and both the sausage and bacon was full of flavour, not cheap supermarket bulk buy stuff.
Getting back too late for evening meal judging by the breakfast I think I missed a good feed
there were no big problems to worry us at all a very happy weekend comfortable bed good food and pleasant staff .
we have nothing negative to say at all
the people who we`r getting to know after a few stays. the beer, the meals and the surroundings.
nothing I can think of.....
Restaurant cleanliness poor
fresh miilk with breakfast was a bit sour
Food was good value and quality, the downstairs bedroom was fine as it had been modernised, our second bedroom upstairs was a bit shoddy. Bar staff were friendly and overworked as the owner was on holiday.
The staff were overstretched, the in room crockery hadn't been changed from the previous guest. The "200" tog quilt was far too hot for the time of year.
just about everything was good.
booking.com believe that this hotel is at Main Street, Wing. There is no Main Street in Wing. In fact, the hotel is at Glaston, a totally different village. This was not good at the end of a long day's drive.
a nice quiet and well appointed place, good food, and beer, just the right distance for a stop for channel tunnel
Not a lot .
Comfortable room at a good value price Friendly and accommodating service Decent evening meal and breakfast
Close to a busy road, but relaxed and did not prevent a good night's sleep.
The room was unclean and the en-suite was filthy especially the bath. I thought £49 was overpriced considering it didn't include breakfast which also wasn't that fascinating. Sorry to say I won't be back.
Booked for location and price. Staff could not have been more helpful.
Positive and friendly welcome from the manager very good service from the staff Comprehensive menu and very good food
Location, food, room freshly decorated.
Staff pleasant, but poor dress code.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, wonderful little English pub atmosphere
Even though we were booked into a family room for 3 people, the room was prepared for two people - third bedding or towels not ready (although were provided when asked). Wifi not available in the rooms.
Good Food Friendly Staff
