We liked everything from our friendly host and hostess, the comfortable room, the room overlooking the church, the lovely Christmas decorations ,the first class breakfast
Location Décor Owners Friendliness
Bed rolled to middle. Room freezing after the heating went off in the night. Room too small for price... Should be £55-60 Shower lacking power
The owners Haydn and Sue were lovely. The B&B is nice and peaceful, the garden looks like it would be nice to sit in in summer. The room was clean and warm. Everything was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend it.
We loved it, lovely calm atmosphere, Sue and Haydn are great hosts, everything is quality - the welcome, the room, the location and the breakfast. A first class place to stay, we are planning our next visit.
You said the bedroom had a view of the garden. The view was a roof on one side and a cemetry on the other. Get your facts right
Quaint place to stay, very quiet with superb countryside.
Doesn't get more English than this! Very hospitable, professional, and efficient. Homely and welcoming. Delicious english breakfast was a treat. Excellent meal waiting at the Drum and Monkey about a mile or so down the road
On our arrival we were welcomed, shown to our comfy room and provided with a much appreciated cup of tea in their cosy lounge. The hosts were very hospitable and met our needs very well. Thank you.
Very nicely maintained and decorated property Excellent pub offering meals nearby! Peaceful rural location Olde worlde atmosphere Pleasant and helpful host Good choice of, and nicely cooked breakfast
No bar. No evening meals offered.
It was a very comfortable place to stay at and we were made very welcome. Many thanks to them. We so liked the idea of having a room to sit in that was not your bedroom. We would definitely like to stay there again !
Clean, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Friendly hosts. Thoroughly recommended
The welcome was excellent. Haydn and Sue made us very comfortable. The food was superb and it was one of the best beds we have every slept in. It was ideally situated for many venues. Will certainly return.
personal and friendly service over and above the call of duty
musty room that could be ameliorated by opening windows, but room facing onto road so ...
Beautiful building, friendly owners and superb breakfast. Easy drive to Tewkesbury and Upton on Severn.
We very much appreciated the welcome we got after a hot journey. We were given a pot of tea which we drank in shade in the attractive garden. We only spent one night at The Old Plough on our way to Cornwall but we felt it would be a perfect base for anyone who wanted to explore the surrounding countryside and towns. All in all it was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the garden and the fine breakfast.
We were happy with everything!
Owner was very friendly and welcoming. property was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent.
You could hear the other guests walking up and down the landing outside our room.
Fantastic place to stay, excellent staff, lovely room in a beautiful location. Was exactly what it promised to be.
Couple were very friendly, suggested a place to eat and the breakfast was very nice.
Nothing was a problem.
Very friendly staff, great welcome, we were greeted with coffee and lots of help with how to get to and from the wedding we were going too. Nice breakfast as well, light options as well as the traditional full English.
Friendliness Downstairs lounge area Nearness of eating places
Nothing to dislike
Warm and freindly, excellent breakfast, good value.
very friendly owner, gave us a lift in his car to a wedding we were going to as we couldnt get a taxi. Lovely cosy comfortable accomodation and breakfast was very nice - full english plus tea coffee, fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc and all included in the price.
everything was very good, couldnt fault it at all.
The Old Plough is ideally situated for exploring the Malverns, ;Cotswolds, Wye Valley and all the little villages and towns on the Servern. The owners are welcoming, the rooms comfortable and clean and the place has real charm. We have now used it on three separate occasions and have never been disappointed.
Nothing to dislike so far.
Friendly welcome from owners. Excellent breakfast. Warm and cosy room.
A little bit of road noise if staying in The Old Post Office, not the owners fault.
