Rooms also feature a cosy seating area, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, and fresh ground coffee is also provided. The Old Rectory Boutique Country House Hotel serves a seasonal menu and award-winning wine list. The restaurant uses quality produce from local farms and fresh vegetables from the garden. The dinner supplement includes a 4-course, locally sourced menu. Guests can watch wildlife, including otters and red deer, from the under the 200-year old grape vine canopy. The beautiful grounds also feature a Victorian maze and leafy seating areas. Surrounded by stunning Devonshire countryside, The Old Rectory Hotel is a 20-minute drive from Ilfracombe. The friendly staff who could not do enough to make you feel really welcome, the food was excellent, as was everything about the hotel. A real gem. Absolutely nothing

The Old Rectory is a perfect 'get away from it all' hotel in idyllic countryside a stones throw from the stunning North Devon Coast. The owners Huw and Sam are the perfect hosts, and their small band of staff are helpful, polite and courteous. The room we stayed in (Watersmeet) was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, likewise the evening meal, which was served as one sitting for hotel guests only.
