Had a couple of lovely nights here with my family, lovely clean accommodation, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and garden, would happily stay again.
The food was good and the staff were all friendly and polite.
Lovely place to stay
Distance from facilities
very satisfied. with everything.
damp room, no mirror in bathroom.shower door didn't shut and shower very small for larger man, towels too small
the old rectory could do with a good clean and paint work could all be wash down poor lighting in bathroom and windows need a good clean two many dogs
Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was good, just a ten minute walk from the Leisure park, pubs etc., Our chalet faced on to a green field and was fine for a quiet nights sleep. Full English breakfast was very nice.
No fan in the chalet on a very warm nights stay and the only opening window was large enough to make security an issue.
Cleanliness was poor, décor was dated, TV was too small
The location is good and the room was well equipped and clean. Good choice for breakfast.
There was a good choice for breakfast but the mushrooms were obviously tinned and tasteless, the hash brownie was greasy which spoilt it for me.
Location of the motel and the garden was lovely. The breakfast area was also well presented.
The overall presentation of the motel could have been better. There are cobwebs everywhere. outside chairs were very dirty. Could have done with a real good clean. I did not like having to pay on arrival. This is the first time we have ever had to pay on arrival. The owners must of had some bad experiences?
Team very friendly upon arrival and throughout. Good recommendations on what to do. Room was clean, nice shower room. Breakfast - standard. Good location close to lots of places. Lovely friendly dog!
The bedroom in the house by the breakfast room was dark and very noisy from quite early in the morning.
My room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Appreciated coffee making facilites and TV...that worked! Good choice for breakfast and pleasant and helpful staff. Liked the garden set -up.
Everything was fine.
All the staff very friendly.Rooms Clean and comfortable.Excellent Breakfast, plenty of parking space.
good food peace and quiet clean and very helpful
could do with small fridge in room
Breakfast was good
On booking we requested a twin quiet room and stated medical condition using oxygen. Staff contacted us en route suggesting we had not booked a twin room, which we had confirmation of! Had to use bunk bed with no bed head to support pillow. Next day we were moved to another room.very early in the morning tree surgeons arrived a do started work. I would have much preferred to be told the truth. No I would not return
No mirror in toilet for shaving, No mirror in room for wife to put make up on or do hair Room 10.
We liked the fact we could take our dog. It was in a good location for the beach and amenities. Was easy to find. The rooms were very clean.
The owners dogs were running around the garden but others were told to keep theirs on the lead slightly unfair maybe they should have shut thier dogs away. Breakfast was very unorganised girls were walking around with food not knowing where to take it. I asked for butter and was given marg and was told that is all they had.
Slug on doormat wooden flooring nice in a living space but not in a bedroom.steps and slope between room and reception, dining room/bar.
location just where we needed
was what we expected, very fine.
Good location, nice garden, friendly staff
small room, not very clean, lots of insects Cobwebs behind curtains Hot water heater over sink not working
Cleanliness and friendliness of staff
Hot water system and location
I liked all of it
Nothing to dislike
mould in the bathroom. Windows filthy. Desperately needs modernising. Breakfast re-heated and not very nice. Over-priced and very disappointing.
