The Queen's Head is a country pub from the 15th century, located west of Salisbury. It has real log fires, plenty of character and a tasty selection of food, wine and Real Ale.

The room was very spacious for a family of 4 and even though it was a quick stay everything was perfect.
I am so impressed with a very warm welcome, friendly staffs, and comfortable room. It was a splendid night I spent with parents. If you are searching for a room near Stonehenge, please come to spend your great nights here. Don't hesitate because there may not have a room left for you. :)))
Great family room with separate area for 2 children with their own tv and various board games.
Large pleasant house in garden. Quite a good area for exploring West country. Would go there again.
On arterial road A303. could not hear traffic. Rather isolated. We chose family suite as we thought there would be extra sitting space etc but there was not and one of the other rooms would have been better for us. But ok for family with young children. Rooms at top of house but luggage was carried up and down for us
You never quite know what to expect when you book on line but EVERYTHING was as promised, and more. There was a warm welcome, everything we required in the well equipped rooms, everything to choose from at breakfast and a caring but not over obtrusive host and hostess. If in doubt, book yourself in!
Trying to get into the line of constant traffic outside - but nothing they could do about that!
A lovely place to stay with the nicest family in the county, probably!
I found the owners very welcoming & made me feel very comfortable the breakfast was very good & their suggestion as 2 where 2 go 4 my evening meal was a very good choice would stay again.
Lovely stay, Colin and Linda were very welcoming and helpful. Room really comfortable and breakfast excellent. Would be happy to visit again.
Warm welcome, "feeling at home" Excellent breakfast, fabulous orange marmalade! Family suite with separate room for children and a vast room for parents.
Warm couple who made us feel at home and even made us tea and cake on arrival.
The owners Colin and Linda are lovely people and make every effort to make sure your stay is enjoyable one. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and all freshly cooked. Colin even fixed my husbands car instead of letting us take it to the garage. Great place to stay would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again if we were in that area.
We liked the friendly atmosphere and the welcome.
The rooms are on the second floor; there is no lift. Whilst it is part of the charm of the old building, it did cause difficulties. Nothing else to report.
We were very pleased with the service and the lovely welcome we received. We would definitely recommend!
Clean rooms Family room had separate kids room Cooked breakfast
The room was very comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the Wifi very reliable. I had a very relaxing stay.
Very cosy and quiet. Nice and helpful owners. Really enjoyable.
The warm welcome, the lovely room, the excellent breakfast, in fact EVERYTHING!
What's not to like about The Old Rectory?!!!
The owners were really nice and gave great recommendation on where to eat for dinner and what to see in the area. We loved it that we could choose between the original English breakfast and a vegetarian version, we have one vegetarian traveling with us.
Everything. Nothing was too much trouble for Linda and Colin. The breakfast was one of the best you will get anywhere. Thoroughly recommended.
Individuality of the house and room Great breakfast Excellent hosts
Excellent quality at a reasonable cost- including the bathroom- which is a change for the UK. Lovely staff, breakfast, location and overall accommodation.
Totally great relaxing stay, Hosts couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, rooms clean and very comfortable, food excellent,
Lynda and Colin who run the B&B were lovely, incredibly helpful without being overly pushy, and really took great care of us. The king sized bed in the family suite was very comfortable, the ensuite shower room was perfectly modern, and the breakfasts were amazing.
we had a small suite for our family of two adults and two children which was very comfortable. The owners had kindly provided board games for the children and a fridge for picnic snacks. the house was very conveniently located and easy to access. We stayed two nights to break a journey from Cornwall to London, and visited Longleat and Stonehenge, both less than half hour drive. The rooms were comfortable and restful after a busy day out. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were thoughtful and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and could easily have stayed several more nights and explored the region.
Good location, not far from pubs, walking distance to Hindon, short drive to Salisbury and Stonehenge. Excellent hosts and breakfasts. Other services offered (laundry, bagged lunch, etc.) A pleasant stay which exceeded expectations.
