Enjoy the luxury, charm and character of The Old Rectory, a delightful AA Red Star hotel. The country house is a short journey from Norwich city centre. The Old Rectory has 8 beautiful, unique rooms and is set in quiet gardens. It offers award-winning service in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Most rooms have south-facing views over the gardens and the Yare Valley. Rooms have a wide-screen TV with Freeview, quality toiletries, comfy beds with fine bedlinen, free mineral water and a hospitality basket with organic and Fairtrade drinks. Chef James Perry has 2 AA Rosettes for his food. Some seasonal produce comes from the hotel’s garden. In summer you can enjoy breakfast under the gazebo overlooking the swimming pool (open from Easter to September). Norwich International Airport is about 5 miles (8 km) away, and the Norfolk Broads are a short drive away. Номеров в отеле: 8

From the very warm welcome received by Chris and Sally, our stay only got better. This hotel is small enough that guests feel part of the "family" but there is enough space to do your own thing. The food is some of the best we have had at any of our hotel stays, even the more expensive ones. Do try the soups, they are really good. We would recommend this hotel to couples looking for a bit of luxury.

We were made to feel very welcome. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Good location, regular buses to Norwich so you don't need to take the car in, close to the broads, coast and some National Trust as well. Ideal for a short break city/country. Excellent evening meals, let them know in advance if you are vegetarian and they will do a special menu for you. We ate there three nights out of four and the menu was different each time. Personally run hotel so everything is individual. Hits about the right point on the value curve for us, good quality and it doesn't feel as though any short cuts are taken, but it doesn't seem too expensive.

The location & Quality of the Hotel were 1st class, this enabled us to relax and see a part of the U.K we hadn't been to before. We would highly recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a city/countryside break.

The room was very cleaned and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. One night we had a problem with the matress but they did managed to sort it out. The food was really tasty and even offered me a special diet, gluten and lacto free replacement meals. I would highly recommend this hotel.

warm reception, excellent meal, attention to detail in respect of visitors'requests, good location for visiting Norwich (bus stop opposite hotel) insufficient signage - to indicate the turning off main road.

A really friendly welcome from the proprietor, who went out of his way to ensure room was suitable and needs were met etc. I much appreciated that he was happy to provide a sandwich etc following arrival mid evening on Sunday when restaurant closed, the room was great and extremely comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the building is interesting and the gardens and location are green and pleasant. Nothing to dislike about this hotel - a very pleasant stay.

A fantastic stay. Lovely hotel with great homey touches, a welcome alternative to most hotels' bland anonymous rooms. Excellent menu and wine list, with food that is locally sourced and well-prepared. Friendly hands-on owners give a real personal touch. A welcome respite on a business trip, but I will return for personal stays as well. Highly recommended.

A marvellous find, made our few days in Norfolk very enjoyable. The evening meal was fantastic and breakfasts are really tasty. A lovely calm atmosphere and really clean and tidy.

An extremely comfortable hotel, spotlessly clean. The proprietor and staff made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. We can really recommend a stay at this hotel.

Everything was good. Attentive and friendly yet professional staff. Excellent evening meal ( fresh produce and cooked to perfection and presented beautifully)..congrats to chef. Close to city centre yet spacious grounds.Quiet location.

We arrived to a warm welcome and Tea & cakes. Our hosts were very pleasant with just the right amount of service without being over the top. We would recommend eating in, the food and service were exceptional nothing was too much trouble.

The service was impeccable and the owner most attentive to residents needs. The food was excellent, we had dinner on two nights and the quality and presentation of the food was of a very high standard.

A quiet, character hotel on nice grounds with good access to town or perimeter road. Free parking, nice pool area & conservatory for relaxing, Very clean, large room with large, updated bathroom. Nice breakfast, helpful owner.

The Old Rectory is a brilliant place to stay. Avoid the chain hotels and stay here, you will not regret it. As a special treat the food is oustanding.

Chris, Sally and all of the staff were polite and extremely helpful. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was enormous!! The food was cooked to a high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. If you want to stay, in comfort, in a place convenient for the country, the sea and the city, then The Old Rectory is the place to go.
