Very welcoming and lovely standard of accommodation. Would use again in future.
the owners could not be faulted nothing was to much really enjoyed my stay there
Comfortable, friendly and conveniently situated .
Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, many details such as china/cutlery/table presentation and general decor reminiscent of our own upbringing Very comfortable Hosts very attentive and friendly Excellent breakfast Large and comfortable bed Good choice of local pubs for food - although the closest was along a busy road so we didn't risk the walk!
Rather close to the main road so traffic noise was a problem at times
Welcoming Clean Comfortable Excellent breakfast Free Wi-Fi
A bit tricky to locate using just sat nav on a dark night!
Really nice people, the room was great.
Walking distance to an excellent restaurant. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent views to countryside. Staff extremely welcoming and homely.
The house is on a main road and there was some traffic noise, although it was quieter late at night.
I choose The Old School House because of its excellent location to both Hereford and Ross-On-Wye. The room was a good size, very cozy and the bed was just lovely. I had a fantastic couple of nights sleep. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was more than ample. A lovely place to stay if you need peace and quiet. I will be returning next time i need to be in Hereford
There was nothing i didn't like.
Hosts friendly and welcoming Good breakfast quite room reasonable price
Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Friendly hosts.
On noisy main road. Traffic noise interrupted sleep. Cleanliness could have been of a higher standard.
The welcome and friendliness, nothing was too much trouble.
VERRY convenient on this occasion for my visit to the locality.
This couple could teach many ahotel how to give good service ,provide extras and essentials almost top class 5 star . Comfort ,fab breakfast ,cleanliness a real gem and a lucky find Thank you brilliant
That we had had this standard were we stayed the previous week !!!!!! The only real nega tive was the very busy road ---- difficult to cross to go to the pub .
Carol and Ian Dixon, the owners were delightful. Carol had put many nice finishing touches to the room and her breakfasts were excellent. We had a great time chatting with Ian, who is a gem.
Nothing to dislike about The Old School and it's hosts?
The proprietors were delightful. The accommodation was set in rural farmland but close to Hereford City. There was no single supplement. I was happy and comfortable there. The ambience was olde worlde but with modern features.
I liked everythong!
Friendly, comfortable and great breakfast.
The close location to Hereford and Ross on Wye the choice of pubs & restaurant within one mile also we were made to feel very welcome on arrival by great hosts Carol and Ian
can't think of a single dislike.
Very lovely and peaceful good food.
Very friendly and welcoming owner. Excellent building with good cooked breakfast and a comfortable bed. Will stay again.
Nothing really, but a clearer sign on the main road would have helped.
Very friendly owners. Very good value for money. Breakfast was very tasty.
Very friendly host, room had everything you needed, plenty tea, coffee...good wifi...freeview tv. Was directed across the road to a hotel for a meal which was excellent. Plenty off road parking.
Walking into a overhanging bramble bush on way back to old school.(no street lighting) nothing negative to say.
Location,breakfast,very friendly and helpful owners
Great breakfast with local produce. Owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. Good location for Hereford and Ross. Excellent tea making facilities. Lots of nice touches - dressing gown, nice sized towels, nice shower gel.
Room was next to main road, so a bit noisy. Bit worn in places, especially the bathroom.
The very friendly atmosphere, and delicious breakfasts in gorgeous dining room. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to the UK.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
We enjoyed the warm welcome to this lovely property and we also enjoyed the world renowned scrambled eggs .
