Very friendly, lovely homely room with nice touches and amazing breakfast.. I recommend the breakfast pot! Not a lot going on in Belford if you want to walk to a restaurant etc.. but lovely location next to church.

Wonderful B&B. We stayed in a beautiful/tranquil room. Annette and Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming, or helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with wide range of interesting choices. The Old Vicarage has been beautifully restored, it has an incredible sense of place, although I put that down most to the hosts, who also offered great advice on local sites, restaurants, and the like. Highly recommended. That we didn't have time to stay longer.

we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. We were given a warm welcome. Our hosts were attentive to our needs and the whole place had an old world charm yet was comfortable. We liked the convivial atmosphere and the opportunity to eat with other guests. Perhaps we were fortunate that our fellow guests both nights were convivial people. This greatly added to our enjoyment. The breakfasts were good with a good choice of fare. The place had an historic feel as befits the original vicarage and adjoining church. Access is difficult and lack of space means one has to park in the town square though this is only 100 yards away. Also a roadside sign would help as we had to ask on arrival where it was situated despite the website providing a good map to guide us to the town of Belford.

Having stayed at the Old Vicarage over many years the warmth of the hospitality and care shown by Annette and Keith towards the guests are still the same as they were in the early days of their venture. The location is superb and the facilities are second to none we will going back for many years to come.

My friend and I had a really fabulous stay at the old vicarage. Food was excellent, plenty of variety and in abundance. The room itself was lovely, very clean, plenty of fresh towels and toiletries, plus tea coffee, bottled water, fresh milk and a whole jar full of biscuits if we wanted them. I cannot say enough how friendly the owners were and helpful in every way they could possibly be. A lovely relaxing stay. Thank you for making it so special.

We felt very welcome. The room was very nice and comfortable with a lot of very nice touches, like little soaps and the offer of sherry and a local drink. Breakfast was nice. The personal attention was what mad The Old Vicarage the best B&B we ever stayed in. What we did not like was the fact that we only stayed there one night. We could have stayed longer.

Alison and Keith were very friendly and welcoming. The Old Vicarage is a beautiful home and situated in a quiet and peaceful village. It is ideally placed for exploring north Northumberland and a comfortable retreat when the weather is poor. We would happily return to it whenever we are in the area.

We received a very warm friendly welcome from Annette who . The Old Vicarage is a fantastic building and is furnished and decorated beautifully. The facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean and what more can I say about the delicious breakfasts!! Bought some Northumbrian sausage to take home. Altogether a home from home - we were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

This must be the one to beat the location was just right for the area we wished to visit, our hosts were more than welcoming, comfortable old world suroundings, breakfast food menu was far more than we have had to choose from anywhere and unusual. When we are up north again this the place we will be staying can't wait to go back. One can always have little niggles but of no consequence would have liked off road parking and kingsize bed but this is not a put off as its somthing a little bit better for your money.

Delightful house overlooking the churchyard. Very quiet, very comfortable. Welcoming owners, wonderful breakfast with great choice of quality food and lovely little extras including drinks, cookies and chocolates in the room. Very cosy and warm in every way. A great place to go back to after a day walking and taking photos. Definitely a B&B to recommend.

We enjoyed our stay: Keith and Alison were excellent hosts, the breakfasts offered good choice of home-cooked local produce, our room, though fairly compact, was perfectly satisfactory and it had an excellent private bathroom (with a huge old-fashioned bath) attached. There was a separate private sitting room downstairs, which was homely and very comfortable. Free pre-prandial drinks (mead, sherrybetc.) are on offer. Only two rooms; bring cash as credit cards not accepted - not a problem for us, but something to bear in mind. One of u would have liked a shower to wash her hair; the curtain separating off our quarters from the other room trained on the ground enough to be a very slight inconvenience. But both these poiints are very minor and should n ot detract from the overall pleasure of the stay.
