Friendly, cheerful & helpful hosts ; Excellent location - convenient, quiet with fine views ; Good quality , filling breakfast
Very helpful owners and dropped us off at pick up point 3 miles away when no taxi available Breakfast was excellent
A warm welcome by our hosts,we really enjoyed our stay and hope to go again in 2015, nothing was to much trouble and the food was great. a lovely few days break. Thank you Barbara and Grant.
we liked it all
Friendlines of staff, excellent position for visiting the area and a breakfast to die for! They couldn't do enough for us and there was more of everything if you only asked. Wi-fi available in the lounge free of charge. Glad for the recommendation for the Wharfedale Heifer restaurant in the village; well worth a visit.
Our room was rather small, would have been cramped if we had luggage for more than a week-end's stay.
Four poster bed - great size. Owner was really helpful in returning several items of clothing I'd managed to leave behind. Very good recommendations for places to eat in the evening.
The village of West Witton itself is not spectacular but still a good base.
Great location, huge four poster beds, selection of different cooked breakfast options and happy to store our bikes - would highly recommend
Shower thermostat was erratic (room 4)
Lovely location...owners very kind and down to earth...nice local friendly pub up the road ..stayed in room 4 with four poster bed very charming and historic building breakfast excellent.if you want quiet you've got it..lovely scenic position.
Nothing much to fault it in my view...if your on a motorcycle.the car park is gravel..just take care...
The welcome was warm, the room was superb (four poster bed !) and the breakfast was a classic slelection but you have to go for the full english. Oh, and there's a 5-Star restaurant just up the street.
Everything about this B and B was superb. The proprietors were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was second to none.
There was nothing to dislike about this place.
Spotless rooms/friendly staff/excellent breakfast/parking facilities were fantastic - could not fault the B&B in any way
The local pub's food was extremely disappointing which resulted in us having to travel by car for a meal in the evenings - nothing that the Old Vicarage owners can do about that but it did mar the overall enjoyment of the holiday.
Staff (Karen) & team Cleanliness Friendliness Views, location all brilliant
nothing at all

Nothing at all!
The lovely welcome from Barbara and Grant, home made cakes and lovely fresh coffee when we arrived, just what we needed after our journey. Clean room and bedding and fresh towels every day. Splendid breakfasts every morning setting us up for a day walking.
Nothing to dislike
Beautiful bedroom. Excellent breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Old Vicarage! It is a beautiful bed and breakfast and the location is perfect. The hosts were very nice and even helped us with directions for touring Yorkshire. Our room was beautiful and elegant and the breakfasts were outstanding.
There truly was nothing that we didn't enjoy about our stay. We would stay there again, no question.
Extremely comfortable room. Fantastic views. Excellent breakfast. Spotlessly clean extremely nice owners and the lady who did breakfasts. We'll be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this b&b.
Friendly owners nothing was too much trouble. Lots of information provided for walks etc. Excellent breakfast choice, comfortable beds and everything was clean. Would visit again.
Very welcoming, excellent location, comfortable room and facilities. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful view and ideally placed for a meal at the Wensleydale Heifer.
Perfect situation. Hosts have provided everything one could wish for and were generous with both. quality and portions of freshly made food, and with their time The specially prepared tours enabled us to explore the beautiful surrounding areas with confidence and delight..
We found the room heating difficult to adjust and were therefore a little cold, but we are a very mature couple (one with heart problems) so this probably wouldn't affect others.
