A beautiful house with very nice rooms. We were extremely put off by the behavior of the owners. Upon arrival we were "greeted" by the owner telling us that we were too early - and that we had another problem. My credit card hadn't gone through the system - however that was probably down to my own fault. The lady of the house asked us when we'd like to have breakfast and we politely turned it down as we'd be out and about from early hours. They insisted that we'd have breakfast and told us that breakfast was usually served between 7:30-9:30. We agreed to come back at 9:00 for breakfast - and the owners replied with a dissapointed 'oh'. On the day of checkout we were resting in our room after an early morning photoshoot. Again the owners, quite abruptly, knocked on our door at 10:50 telling us that they needed our room for other guests (we were getting ready to check out anyway - but didn't think 5 minutes over check out time would make a difference. All in all - a very beautiful house, setting and nice rooms - but the owners have a lot to learn about hospitality.

This is a wonderful b & b on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The owners are welcoming and friendly and the property is beautiful. If you sleep with your windows open the only sound you hear is the nearby river. Our full English Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh ingredients. We had high hopes for this establishment and they were met with total satisfaction.

Run by a friendly couple, The Old Vicarage has just 2 rooms for guests. Ours was comfortable with a double bed and ensuite shower room. Plenty to eat for breakfast. Property is surrounded by fields, hills and a small river. Close to the Brecon Beacons, local caves and the Brecon Railway.
