The manageress went considerably out of her way to to allow me entry late at night. Room at front a bit noisy from traffic. Double glazing would help. |

Its a charming, comfortable, clean hotel with courteous staff. It has easy access to A-11 and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful |

I was in a single bedded room that was against a wall I would have felt more comfortable if it was away from the wall |

Friendly Staff The room was decorated in the most bizarre style, resembling a house of ill-repute, not at all in keeping with an old English Pub. I would suggest the owners redecorate as it would definitely discourage guests from rebooking and recommending to others. A pity as the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was good. |

The friendly, co-operative owners and polite staff. The place was just right in every respect and the food was particularly good. |

The hotel is very pleasant with helpful staff. The service and quality of food in the restaurant were very good and reasonably priced. The constant low level background noise from the A11 which runs close by. |

Very friendly staff, although resturant staff need to pay more attention to customers rather than chatting. Hotel is being lovingly restored and look forward to seeing the improvements to the bar area. Room smelt a little bit musty, but then the hotel is 15th century,. |
