Staff friendly and relaxed Shower not available in all rooms. Fine Cuisine not matched by full understanding of fine service.Single Glazing next to busy main road poor. |

What a find! This place really is amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who took the time to come and chat. My room was superb, bed comfy and everything very clean - also lots of little thoughtful touches. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms with a brand new bathrooms with little blue lights in the bath panel. The food is to die for, everything perfect. Will be back and will be recommending you to all my friends. Thank you. |

live music hotel was nice.food expensive £9.00 for a full english breakfast is very pricey,we also think breakfast should be included in the price of the room as the room wasnt very cheap. |

Food and service was exceptional. I appreciate that I stayed on a Thursday night, however the promise of a bar with a fine selection of whiskies, brandies, specialist spirits and liquors was not the case as the bar was unattended. |

The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant very good - with a nice bar next to it to relax before your meal. We had a lovely room but because it wasn't double glazed we heard the noise from the main road through the night - and we were not positioned at the front of the hotel. |

Really good place to stay. Comfortable, stylish rooms. It's a bit quirky, but there's nothing wrong with that. Very convenient. Evening meals and breakfast good. The outdoor area (weather permitting) is great for a late night drink too. |

Overall the service, food and the room was excellent. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. The two nights that we spent at the hotel were most enjoyable. The restaurant and the bar menu's had an excellent choice and provided equally excellent food. I would definitly recommend this hotel, adn would stay again. |

I liked the attention to the hotel decor, it is modern but keeps the old features of the building. Our bed was very comfortable with lovely fluffy duvet and pillows. The breakfast was nice as most of the produce came from the local area. Although we noticed that our bed was 2 x single beds put together, rather then a double, we still had a good sleep |

The manageress went considerably out of her way to to allow me entry late at night. Room at front a bit noisy from traffic. Double glazing would help. |
