This charming pub and hotel offers a picturesque riverside setting. Situated by the Sowe River, the old mill hotel is a converted watermill whose origins stretch back to the Domesday Book.

Warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room with all facilities. Everything worked and little extras like kit-kat biscuits (different). Excellent cuisine with good value. Had dinner and breakfast at hotel. Good menu choice and well cooked. Staff very helpful and tolerant.
EVERYTHING AT THE OLDE COACH HOUSE WAS AS GOOD AS EXPECTED, IT IS WELL WORTH A RURAL VISIT
STORED HOT WATER TO MAKE YOUR TEA AT BREAKFAST
The food was not good this time...
Attention to detail Fabulous decor Switched on staff Beautiful, traditional English
Argument about invoice at end of stay Our bedroom Guy Fawkes was too small to be really comfortable and a little cold despite good heating controls
A wonderful evening spent at the hotel - food excellent and staff amazing!! Would love to return again!
Friendly staff team and good food very comfortable rooms
The staff were lovely - very kind and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable, and overlooked the garden. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant area, which is where we had a good breakfast the following morning.
The food was excellent The location was great - quiet and beautiful village The staff were polite and helpful without being intrusive
The beds in the room we stayed in were quite short, but beds in other rooms were better. Would choose a different room next time. This did not spoil our stay
friendly staff good decor food and drink character
Helpful staff. Had a lovely room in the pub itself instead of the annexe that we normally have. Breakfast as always was excellent.
Not too sure about having a shower only, as previously had shower over bath and the shower room was very small, adequate though.
Comfortable room and good food-great place to stay!
This is a great venue whether on business or leisure. The rooms are clean and well kept, the bar is very nice with plenty of room to enjoy with friends but also feels comfortable if you are alone. Lovely wood fire for these winter months. Food also very good and varied. The whole hotel is quality, reasonably priced, with a friendly atmosphere.
Lovely comfortable rooms and friendly staff team.
Helpful Staff Excellent food Very comfortable rooms Location Greeted like an old friend, this was our 4th visit
The shower pressure was not good. No bedside table to put things.
New bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. Wifi easy to connect. Location in a lovely village yet within easy reach of Rugby and Daventry.
food, bed, location
Rooms very small
the food, the room, the staff
Good food, breakfast was excellent as always. Staff polite and helpful and very willing to help if you have any queries.Plenty of parking
1.Excellent meals and very prompt and courteous service. 2. Great wet room shower. 3. Plenty of car parking. 4. Excellent large TV. 5. Quiet bedroom despite Sat evening restaurant/pub clients
1. The only luxury twin that was available was the disabled suite. 2. There were no chairs. For two people to watch TV you had to lie on the beds. 3. The beds were short - less than 6ft in length. 4. Little storage for long stay.
Being greeted as a friend on only second visit. The room was a reasonable size and the bed very comfortable, we had been spoilt on our first visit by being upgraded because of a cancellation. Was offered a meal if required after normal closing because my partner was travelling from Luton. we did not take up this offer but it was a very nice gesture and much appreciated.
No/ poor phone signal not down to the hotel, it is a local problem
The room was cozy and extremely well decorated. The welcome tray was great, tea, coffee, bottled water, biscuits. Bed was great quality, good deep mattress, nice pillows. Restaurant on site offered good food at reasonable prices and tasted delicious (steak pie was a real winner) Staff were friendly, polite and welcoming.
No phone signal in the bedrooms, but that's not the fault of the hotel its a mobile provider problem. Didn't really bother me but if you need constant phone signal it may bother you. Signal can be got just outside main door.
Swift service to overcome difficulties. Warm coffee from the bar. The rain shower.
Being given the wrong room. Cold beans. Cold coffee. The fire alarm green light illuminating the bedroom.
Really nice hotel warm friendly atmosphere with great food and a cunfy bed
Was all good no negative comments
We stayed overnight in a comfortable room above the bar. We enjoyed dinner, and breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed a good night's sleep.
The shower room was very compact, and the shower temperature was either freezing and or too hot.
