Clean and the bed was comfortable
Comfortable bed Helpful staff Flexible approach to visitors' needs Close to work Lots of parking Big rooms easy to get in and out of Clean
Hard to find; a sign with the name on is a must Nowhere close by to eat and nothing on site No outside space such as a lounge or public area so you are just in the room TV hard to see!
the receptionist on tuesday 21st of this month was very helpful. I was travelling somewhere i didnt know and she went to a lot of effort to print me out directions and put them under my door before she had finished her shift.
I was room 7 and there was a fair amount of noise, i had to be up very early so this was not ideal.
Everything was terrible
The noisy lift alert right outside my room all night followed by the noisy kids n parents using the car park as a throughfare. Lost count of the amount of stains on the hallway carpet. My chair in my room was either too short or the desk too high for disabled access making me need numerous pillows to jack me up to a decent working height!
Beds were soft and lumpy. The bathroom needed renewing, it was tired and scruffy. Insufficient parking outside of hotel.
A room badly set out , BATHROOM mouldy and stinks FLOOR stayed wet all night , alarms were going off all night disturbing our sleep .
Handiness to the hospital
We had some very heavy footed elephants in the room above us, if we need to go there again we would ask for a top floor room
The staff were friendly and pleasant. The facilities very good.
One bedside lamp would not work and the TV would not come off of standby in the morning and most of all the water would not run hot in the morning.
Location easy access to Stokemandeville Hospital
Having to leave building for Breakfast!!!!
Wet room with outstanding shower. Large room Looking at the stadium Staff very friendly
to be honest nothing
the bathroom was dirty and limscale every place, parts was falling off the wall, the place has not been dusted i did not even use the shower, only 1 towel. the lift was bleeping every min of the day ... it felt like I was in a hospital ward. The guy on reception looked unclean. this gave me a bad impression of the place as soon as I walked in ..
large room and large bathroom
carpet was awful. retained the heat and bedroom window could not be opened fully. Mattress of very poor quality. Showerhead didn't work properly and was badly taped (old)
We did a stop over during a week end away good value for money but did nt realise that we could of used swimming pool and facilities what was a shame
Rooms a bit tired could do with up grading
Spacious, comfy beds, nice breakfast breakfast staff friendly
Reception staff not very chatty or happy, cob webs and very dirty bathroom
Access to leisure centre. Big spacious room.
Uncomfortable bed, bathroom needed a decent clean in corners etc, strange vibrating noise in the wall all night which we reported following morning.
Bathroom.... But is build taking into cinsideration the handicap people.... so good in that way.
The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, the wifi was free and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel
It was quiet, functional. Staff were very friendly and helpful, one night porter was extremely helpful, polite and courteous when we arrived late. Other, younger night porter quickly found other room for 2 of our party. The rooms were cheap in comparison with the wider area, we were travelling to Oxford and Bicester, the accommodation there was more expensive, it was better for us to stay at the Olympic Lodge and drive to those places. Overall the stay was good, but maintenance needs improving.
Location was awkward to get to. TV did not work in one room, but not a big problem on this occasion. All the lights failed in another room, so we had to swop that room. Parking area was a little small and difficult to park our MPV in, but I managed ha!
Large bedroom and facilities in place for those with disabilities like my husband and I.
Very basic, no instructions on how to operate tv and could not access channels 3,4 and 5. No details how to contact reception or outside line if required. Curtain track on one side was broken, making it difficult to draw the curtains when dark. Worst of all was the noise from other guests especially 'door slamming' even though we were in a room in the 'quiet area'!
Everything was great!!
Great value for the price
there was no tv Monday. there was no hot water Tuesday also problems with only 1 towel on 2 separate occasions .
Spacious clean rooms, comfortable beds.
A bit far from eateries and pubs. Have to take taxis.
have to keep going down to reception for towels when two people in room and only 1 bath towel minor but you shouldn't have to.
