Everything about the place, Steve and Sally were excellent hosts, amazing even would do anything for us.
nothing to dislike
Great location as a base for walking around the area. Fantastic breakfast and many thanks for the cooking apples!
Nothing to mention
very welcoming, nice little touches, own entrance, left you to come and go as you pleased ,steve made a fantastic breakfast, really lovely couple.
Own separate entrance, fresh, neat and plentiful breakfast.
Quiet location.Friendly welcome. Lots of local info given. Comfortable, well furnished accommodation. Large, efficient shower.Very convenient location for Abergavenny town centre. Excellent breakfast using local produce. Will return.
The Orchard B & B was really lovely, the separate entrance and small kitchen area were a bonus. The whole property was spotless and Sally and Steve could not do enough for you, including booking us into a near by Inn for dinner. Would certainly recommend to family and friends. There was nothing not to like about the Bed and Breakfast property.
The B&B is situated in a very quiet location. The Host/Hostess were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms had their own private entrance. The rooms comprised a large bedroom with sofa, a very large bathroom, small lobby area containing table, chairs and a small fridge. From the bedroom, one side overlooked fields, the other side the B&B's garden. Breakfast was exceptional.
Sally and Steve were warm and friendly and were able to share their local experience with us. Our room was immaculate and we made good use of the sofa in the evening. We appreciated having the table and fridge adjoining the room. There was an excellent shower and very comfortable bed. We had an enjoyable breakfast which fortified us for climbing The Skirrid!
I cannot find fault with anything. The proprietors are pleasant, friendly, very willing to please - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and cooked to our liking. Would certainly recommend the Orchard B&B.
Location welcome, everything we needed was thought of and super breakfast.
Amazing location Amazing owners Amazing breakfast Amazing information and where to go Great bedroom with picture book views of a lovely field and hills Right in the centre within walking distance of some lovely pubs Lovely lovely stay
It was all fantastic
The hosts were very welcoming, and could not do enough to make our stay a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Had the best breakfast we have had since leaving home over 6 weeks ago. We had plenty of room, a fridge for our personal use and the bathroom was large, spotless and very modern. This is a 5 star bed and breakfast!
We liked everything, owners were nice and friendly, our room was specious and comfortable, and the breakfast was great!
The warm welcome and personal touches in the room as well as good tips for eating places and driving directions. If you are looking for very comfortable, quiet and friendly accommodation then this is the place to stay
Nothing was to much trouble. The hosts were so very nice and friendly. Such a good hearty breakfast as well.
Steve was very helpful with where to visit, food, room set up, everything
Warm, friendly welcome to well-appointed accommodation in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Steve and Sally are very capable, hospitable and helpful hosts. Breakfasts are excellently presented, delicious and a great start to the day. Steve and Sally make every effort for guests to have a "home away from home" and have helpful suggestions on things to visit. Thoroughly recommend and looking to return to "The Orchard". A 10/10 from two very satisfied Australians.
Nothing to not like!
This B&B is a little gem....3 hours fro London & the South East makes the area in general and the Orchard in particular a great place for a weekend away. Could not fault a single thing from the welcome to the goodbye. Sally & Steve were perfect hosts. We will be back there were so many walks and climbs that we didn't get chance to do.
The fact we had to go home !
Sally & Steve were exellent hosts, location was great. We loved the peace & quiet, our room was very comfortable & the breakfast was delicious.
We can't fault anything.
This B&B truly felt like a home away from home. Steve & Sally (the people running the B&B) were so friendly, very warm and very welcoming. They gave us tips on what to do in the local area and how best to get there. They even recommened the best restaurant(s) nearby and booked us a table before we even arrived. The breakfast they prepared was also absolutely delicious. We absolutely loved our stay there!
Location and hospitality from Steve and Sally.
Nothing - it was fab
