Just 100 metres from Chester Rail Station, the Westminster has free Wi-Fi and a contemporary bar and restaurant. A grand, wooden staircase and a stained glass window are features of the Best Western.

It was close to the City centre.
Our bedroom was nothing like the website. We were given a room in need of decorating, there were stains on the sheets, no lampshade and the curtains were hanging down, fixtures and fitting were hanging off the walls, the worse bedroom we have ever stayed in.
The staff made me feel very welcome. Off street parking and in a good location. On the first night I was woken up by the cold. Mentioned it the next morning and the guy was up checking the radiator while I had breakfast, left another blanket and the next night I was lovely and warm.
Only one shower was working for the whole guest house.
The breakfast was well nice
Beds need replacing and had ongoing problem with our toilet
Low price B&B in great central location with helpful and friendly owner
Room could do with a good spring clean and though I assume the bed linen was clean, there were some stains on the bedsheet.
Great location, friendly staff, free secure parking, value for money, very happy with our stay for what we paid and would stay here again.
In my opinion... Nothing bad to say about my personal experience (Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that)
cooked english but had to go to cafe across the road, only good thing is one minute from railwaystation, will not stay there again
room cold bathroom broken in room no mirror over sink
Couldn't connect to the WiFi.
Easy for walking into Chester city centre and free parking
My room was on the main road side so a little noisy
Location (2mins walk from train station and 5mins walk from town) was perfect.
Bed was terrible/faulty. Expelair in bathroom didnt work.
very cold at night and very unclean
Friendly staff. If your looking for somewhere to crash after a night out this is it. It's not a place if your looking for somewhere to spend long periods of time in the place. Price reasonable for what you get.
Needs a bit of updating with decor.
This place does exactly what is says on the tin. Chester is quite an expensive place so for such a great location with parking then this is excellent value for money. It is basic accommodation as you would expect for this price.
Location from Chester train station was a 3 minuate walk Clean towels.
Only one small mirror in the bathroom. Shower wasn't the best( not very powerful) Could do with a lick of paint.
Very convenient location, close to Chester station. Very amenable host (late arrival, early departure, early breakfast on request) Budget hotel, but certainly clean.
Some parts need redecoration & maintenance (room / shared toilet / showers) but reflected in the price really.
The one member of staff who greeted us was polite.
The condition of the room was apauling with many repair issues not addressed. The bed base was broke, mattress very lumpy and extremely uncomfortable, creaked at the slightest movement so we had NO sleep.
The assistant lady was lovely and chatty
The rooms were very basic and quite cold in the night overall good for the price
Location, price, simplicity, staff.
Bed linen, lack of a lick of paint.
The staff were lovely and friendly. Happy for us to go for breakfast a few minutes late so could take luggage to the car.
Room was freezing! Bed was uncomfortable, so terrible sleep. Too late to get a shower when eventually fell asleep- staff helpfully woke us by knocking on the door (not requested), so can't comment on shower facilities- couldn't use them, as no time. No leeway on check out. Toilet moved. Only one glass in the bathroom. No bathroom mirror. Ripped hand towel. Car park hard to find. Had to go across the road for breakfast, so can't recommend kitchen facilities. Then had to walk all the way round to get back to the car as they locked the hotel doors!
The location was excellent in 5-7 minutes walk I was right in the centre of the city.
Hotel run down. Needs major refurbish. There was a lot of evidence of damp in the property and the rooms were old and shabby. The car park was a bonus but very small and tight.
damp on 2 walls and radiator not working fully
Location brill, value for money. Lady was lovely. Defo stay again if went Chester
Friendliness of the staff, good food, handy location, car park.
Poor decorations, squeaky bed, heating on full blast in bedroom all night.
The host was very friendly
The room was very dirty, tiles missing from above toilet. Very old fashioned decor the room smelt of damp. The bed was so hard we couldn't sleep on it. Shower curtain was dirty and moldy same as the shower. Plugs not in good location had to boil kettle on the floor which is not ideal. Would not recommend sorry
