Only there one night, but very good in every aspect of our stay.. thank you
We were greeted at the door by Franciose and looked after until we left, couldn't have asked for more. Excellent evening meal. Excellent breakfast. Really can't praise the Outbuildings and Franciose enough.
Everything! Fabulous location so peaceful
Would have liked milk left in the rooms
Fantastic location Great food Nice people Creative decoration
Friendly people, very scenic location
Small TV, no shampoo & bubble bath.
Breakfast was good, beds comfortable, clean rooms very well decorated home from home feel.
Staff were wonderful, they could not do enough to make our stay memorable. Food was delicious.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Overall a very good place to stay.
very stylish, beautiful views, nice breakfast, couldn't fault it
Friendly welcome. Excellent vegetarian breakfast. Relaxing, homely communal areas. Many wonderful little touches such as locally sourced toiletries, cake and mints in the room, original art from local artists in rooms and communal areas, guide books and maps, Felinfoel Double Dragon at the bar!
Hot water in bathroom was super hot. No stand-up shower and no curtain, so the handheld shower sprayed the bathroom despite care taken not to.
Accommodations were beautiful as well as the grounds & surrounding countryside. We had dinner one night and all 3 courses were delicious. The chef & staff really make you feel welcome and treat you as if you are their most important guest.
From start to finish hotel went out off there way. Very friendly, very clean
Spacious, well fitted room with view of countryside. Good quality local food, well cooked and presented. Very pleasant environment - log fires, massive sofas, lovely dining areas and friendly staff, especially chef Hilary who gave us a magical dining experience on our first night.
Hand shower only in bath and no curtain which was awkward and the hot water was far too hot.
We liked everything about the outbuildings the very friendly staff the lovely bedrooms and lounge The breakfasts were first class we just wish we could have stayed longer
Everything!! There were no complaints. Ok, a minor one. We couldn't get wi-fi in our room. Other than that, everything was amazing.
No complaints at all.
It was wonderfully peaceful, and we slept very well. Great mattress, and very comfortable room with a good bathroom. The excellent meal was served with no fuss, just calm, friendly efficiency. Sitting room is lovely, with a wonderful view...very warm and with tea and cake when we arrived. Enjoyed our breakfast up in the kitchen too, and sped on our way with no concerns about finding lunch later on. We had no room!
The Outbuildings gives you the advantages of B&B with all the luxury of a boutique hotel. Great idea to have individual accommodation that feels like your own cottage but without the hassle of self catering. Great chef, super food, beautiful three course meal, well worth taking advantage of the opportunity to eat in. Appreciated Judith phoning us to offer us dinner and discuss the menu prior to booking in at 16.00. All though the weather had been cloudy all day the evening sun was amazing and the views over to Snowdonia were fantastic. Luxury soft furnishings and beautiful local art works. Lots of maps and helpful info about the area. Somebody on tap to meet and greet. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for a much enjoyed all too brief stay
Spacious room, very large en suite. Beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast plentiful and well cooked. Beautiful countryside and can see all the way to Snowdonia. Fresh bottles of water in room every day. Had a wonderful evening meal 3 out of 4 evenings. Paid more than we normally pay for a meal but the food was well worth the extra cost.
We arrived a bit before 4pm and were turned away. No afternoon tea welcome tray when we arrived later. Biscuits in room for two days and then nothing.
Lovely converted buildings tastefully done to high spec. Staff exceptional. Food and service exemplary. Lovely location only a few miles from Menai. Lovely walks both beach & countryside nearby. Great short break!
Not a lot. Separate shower would have been nice.
