The beds were fantastically comfy. Room was lovely and cosy. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious
Wifi was very hit and miss. Not very strong at all.
Easy access from London Very quiet Great facilities Close enough to Oxford
Booking.com caused confusion with the final bill, which didn't explain clearly that the deal price was an average charge for our three days At first glance it appeared we were paying more than quoted ... Very confusing!
Staff very good food very good
The thumping noise from the gym made our room vibrate
Location, facilities, helpful
Reception was 'very' strict with the 2:00pm room entry. Spa was fully booked weeks in advance.
A lovely and friendly place to stay.
we were given a bedroom for a disabled person and found the bathroom less convenient to use eg shower.
comfy rooms and beds, Friendly and helpful staff Great food and value for money
That I didn't book a second night in this amazing hotel
The main issue was we could not use wifi at all
Swimming pool Breakfast Staff
The hotel was good with excellent service. The food in the restaurant was very good. The conditions in the room were first rate.
The hot water failed in the evening, which was fixed by the following morning, but the staff offered a discount on the price as compensation, and ability to use alternative showering facilities. It was hard to find using my Tom Tom sat nav, the receptionist said this was a common problem.
I liked the choice for breakfast, and the evening meal I had in our room was lovely.
Can't think of anything
Nice room, spa facilities and staff were good. There was a very good choice at breakfast. Dinner was good but took rather a long time - all in all a very pleasant stay - nothing special.
Restaurant and bar were a little bit soulless - but it is a golf club.
Room clean, quiet, great to have a iron and ironing board
Whilst buffet breakfast, was ok, found the hot section was only warm, , found only this fault
Excellent breakfast .pool area very nice ,and our room was good. The town of Thame is also worth a visit very nice pubs
The bar was very exspensive. Also large group of golf lads who were very loud an very drunk
The Suite was very good. Staff were helpful Hotel was very clean Bed was extremely comfortable Evening Dinner menu and food quality was very good.
- Trying to charge £10 for a one-hour extended check out when the suite was not booked that evening. - Recommend having maps/information about the local area available for those that would like them
The hotel was in a beautiful, quiet location, perfect for relaxation. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want a quiet, relaxing stay.
Holiday feel but not remote, ideal stay for going to Bicester Outlet
The hotel is in a lovely location and set in the surroundings of a golf course. The room have stylish decor and cleanliness is to a high standard. The service and greeting my staff upon arrival is excellent.
Paid for an executive room expecting a queen bed but unfortunately the bed was two twins joined up. Throughout the night you found yourself in a dip where the two beds had been connected. On checkout I did mention this to the gentleman on reception. He just apologised and said he would would get house keeping to check this out. The rooms aren't cheap and at that price you would expect the bed to be what you requested and comfortable to sleep on. My partner and I ended up sleeping on either sides of the bed as the part where the beds joined was uncomfortable.
The best part was definitely the fillet steak - the best I've ever had!
No hot water on second morning!
Nice setting, very spacious room, very clean, very helpful main reception staff.
Breakfast was per cooked for the breakfast period. If you came after 9 it was a little overlooked. Tried ringing room service, still waiting for a reply. Long wait at the spa reception.
The room was very good in every respect.
Room layout very confusing. Morning papers not as ordered, the Financial Times only comes out on a Saturday not the Sunday so I received it twice.
Modern facility in a lovely setting with great views. We enjoyed a visit to the pool and jacuzzi followed by drinks on the terrace. A nice way to finish a day of Oxford sightseeing.
Room ambiance and size Very good restaurant
