Location was fantastic and the free car parking was essential for me and there was always spaces available.
Nothing excellent value for money for a short stay
Staff were friendly and helpful
Could be cleaner more detail in cleaning
Prompt attention by serving staff at breakfast and fast arrival of ordered food which was of very good quality.
friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, very good size rooms, comfortable, easy to find, close to the sea front, good price, had a lift (essential as with 96 year old) No problem finding somewhere close by to park on the sea front but if needed to be right by the hotel this would have been a problem
Lift a bit squashed for 3 people and luggage but it did work. Breakfast ended at 09.30 would have preferred 10.00 (96 year old not so good in the morning) Prefer power shower but it worked and bathroom was well looked after and clean. We had a disabled sticker not sure how parking payments would have worked otherwise - residents permit? something to check out.
Nice English breakfast and the two young staff in the dining room were very pleasant and helpful
Being woken up at 6.30 on a Sunday morning with noisy guests and staff talking and laughing and then staff hoovering at 7am. No shower gel in bathroom or hairdryer. Shower head broken.
Excellent location, good value for money, excellent breakfast with quick, efficient and friendly service
Difficulty finding parking spaces close to the hotel; our double room was half the size of our sons' twin room and they had better/more facilities which were better maintained.
Close to sea front. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room.
On road parking. Noisy neighbours.
Size, facilities, quality, cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms. Friendliness of the staff. Location. Breakfast and timings of breakfast Good value for a solo.
Creakiness of corridors and ceilings, but this is on a par with many large hotels.
They went out of their way to accommodate us and were extremely friendly - just what I want out of a stay. The hotel was on a side road, a minute from the sea and theatres and three minutes from the shopping centre. Our room had a lovely sea view. It was a perfect location for the Eastbourne airshow. Thanks!
Good quality food served, all brand names not cheap stuff, cooked breakfast excellent and very quickly served and hot. Bar prices good, staff helpful. Very large room and very large double bed
The shower cubicle was very tiny and toilet right next to it, was not much room, very hard for a larger person. The room was very large so they could of used a little more space with the cubicle and toilet but the rest of the bathroom was reasonable size
All was perfect. Bathroom bigger than sleeping room, great :-) Excellent value for money, superb location.
Parking is almost impossible near the hotel, I have to park about 400 m away. Hopefully I visited Eastourne in Sunday and parking is allowed for non residents at this day.
It was in a great location. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. You can park on the street, but a good multi storey is a short distance away.
Room was a little too warm. Restaurant was warm and humid. Lift was scary! It stopped short if the 3rd floor so we didn't use it again.
Room spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Staff was very pleasant. Lovely breakfast.
There was nothing we didn't like
The room was nice and big. The breakfast was very good with a good choice mum and myself enjoyed them very much.
The lift was a bit to small for a wheelchair had trouble getting in and out with it kept hitting my mums feet, so had to keep lifting the feet bars up before getting in&out.Could only have a sandwich between 12.30-1.30 no other time.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Wide choice of breakfast.
Location, food, service
Comfortable bed clean and well-kept
close to sea front free parking staff friendly...especially in bar bar area lovely and comfortable clean bedding breakfast...lots of choice
room 303 too hot on top floor seagulls awake from 1am !!! no sleep at all.Bed very hard room smelt like urine furnishings very old and needs a total refurb waitress forgot to serve us
A balance between reasonable closeness to the seafront and train station. Second floor room was spacious and WiFi worked well there (though staff suggested it was only available on ground floor). A totally sitdown breakfast (as opposed to buffet) was a novelty for me (and perhaps tailored to the older clientel. Enjoyed checking out the old theatre playbills at the entrance (former "digs" for visiting thespians?).
Location friendly staff
Lots of older generation the room smelt musky and the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been it also smelt very musky would not go back again it took lots of air freshner and windows open all day to deal with the smell.
Good location. The owners and staff were efficient and very friendly. Lovely breakfast.
comfortable and quiet hotel
friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable generous sized room and giant bed, and the free parking
Cannot think of anything.
Full english breakfast
Shower as it was to small and control knob fell off to many times for my liking.
