The staff were really friendly, the room was lovely and the food in the restaurant was excellent. 't couldn't however get a phone signal and had to drive into Hay on Wye to get one which was a nuisance. However they did tell us we could have used their payphone if we needed to.

The relaxed atmosphere and we thought our twin room was excellent even if it did face the car park, we could watch the chickens from the side door, we loved it. Nothing

The accommodation in the separate 'Wooden House' was excellent, well worth booking the superior room. The Pub is owner run and they have a real interest in ensuring their guests are happy. The food they serve is delicious, not fussy, just really good quality ingredients all locally sourced. Nothing

The room was warm and comfortable despite the awful weather outside. It was also quite spacious so I had room to stretch and do yoga if I wanted to. Liam was quite a hit, too. The food was quite meat based and rich. I did enjoy it but found it a bit much .

We had a fantastic time. We wanted relaxing/excellent food - best steak ever!! And puddings to die for. Room was warm & welcoming - which when it was tipping down was wonderful. Like being in a log cabin in the Swiss Alps. Could have done with a light over our door when trying to get in when dark and a better path as was slabs & you couldnt see in the dark/mud from constant rain!

The room was lovely and warm and the bed very comforatable. All of the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent - with locally soured ingredients. We had both an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast which were both superb. The pine building is finished to a high spec and the views from the room were lovely. Room furnishings were a bit minimalistic - I would have liked a comfy chair in the room. At £100 - a little expensive for the accommodation.

the accommodation block looked like a giant shed but when you got inside the room it was a lovely surprise. all fixtures and fittings top quality, very comfortable bed and a view we would like to wake up to every day! the food was very good, the staff very friendly and little Liam a charming secret weapon to make you want to return ! If we were being hyper critical we would have preferred a comfortable armchair to the ones provided.

The Pandy Inn exceed expectations on all fronts. From the warm welcome to the luxurious accommodation it was simply splendid. We drank and dined in a 12th century inn and slept in 21st century luxury! The food was beautifully cooked and the wine excellent. Our hosts were delightful and the service perfect. Our room was spotless with a fabulous bathroom and the bed so comfortable with crisp white linen. A little balcony with a lovely view just added icing to the cake! We are already planning our next trip as The Pandy Inn just happens to be located in one of the loveliest parts of the country and we want to do some more exploring.

The friendly welcome, the room which had a real wow factor and was equipped with everything one needed and the contrast of the elegant 'Scandinavian' style rooms and the quaint, traditional pub. The pub doesn't have great kerb appeal and people might overlook it for this reason. This would be a real shame...

The location and the friendliness of the staff and locals Whilst the rooms were most unusual, being made from wood, we had a groundfloor room which was made very noisy by the people above us walking on their wooden floor.

The location is beautiful, surrounded in countryside. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food was of a very good standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would definatly choose to stay there again. We stayed in room 4 which has a balcony overlooking the fields, it was stunning but i wouldnt be happy to stay in 2 of the rooms as they over look the car park, not pretty. Sorry to say the chips were disappointingly hard/ undercooked:-(

The Pandy Inn was superb. The deluxe room in the Polish building was to high spec and had the most comfortable bed and great view. The staff and owner were lovely and couldnt do enough for you, the bar was friendly and had cask beer from a brewery in the village and the food was wonderful - including the breakfast! The whole place has an air of quality and friendliness. Great place for a romantic weekend. We will stay again - soon I hope.

The food is its strongest feature. New-build accommodation also great - comfortable with powerful showers, though rooms look out either over countryside (great) or car park (grim), so allocation is crucial. Friendly staff. Main building and car park area need make-over - nothing dramatic just paint, some refurbishment and tidying-up. But I think this is planned. Noisy neighbouring dogs barking incessantly in early mornings.

The associated pub is gorgeous, the rooms are modern, bright, and very comfortable, with clean white sheets, big towels, and fluffy dressing gowns. We had views of fields and chickens from our private back patio. One server in the pub was a little incompetent; otherwise, everything was gorgeous.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pandy Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well supplied with teas, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, conditioner and other items. The bed was very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and most enjoyable. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. It's a beautiful, quiet area only accessible by b roads so you will need a car to fully enjoy the area attractions. I did notice a bus stop in the village so you can probably reach Hay-on-Wye by bus if that is your destination. We definitely hope to return to The Pandy Inn. A very minor quibble: more clothes hangers in the wardrobe would be useful.

The Pandy Inn is set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. A typical old inn which loads of character. The accommodation was set in the grounds of Pandy Inn which looks like it has been newly built. The twin room was very clean and very well presented with plenty of tea, coffee and water. The bathroom was very big but unfortunately no bath. I would have given this place top marks if the breakfast was better cooked. The sausages were presented burnt and it took quite a long time to arrive. The kitchen wasn't busy because there was only one other person eating. There was also no choice of cereal either and no marmalade to go with the toast only jam. I'm glad I didn't decide to have my evening meal there.

Lovely, peaceful location. 10 minutes from Hay by car. Nice staff, good food. Really nice room with view over the unspoilt countryside. Maybe a bit expensive - £100 a night - compared to other options nearby.
