The bed was comfortable, clean but aging furnishings and bedding. Tv basic provision, very basic tea and coffee provision. The room was quiet, warm and comfortable. Though comparatively cheap, it was still expensive for what it was. Aging, with a bit of effort and minimal outlay, it could offer a better facility.

I liked the old building and the history attached to it. Location was perfect right in the Pantiles area. The staff were also very pleasant. Mattress was stained. Looked a bit old.

It's location. We did not like the smell of deep fat fryers or the very dated bathroom. We only had one cup in our room although we requested another one! When we went to boil the kettle we found it had already been used to boil a tea bag and the bag was still inside the kettle!

We booked into The Pantiles Hotel for two nights as we were attending a family wedding at High Rocks; We had a very enjoyable stay the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the luxury of a cooked beakfast on both mornings. If we come to the area again we would most certainly stay at The Pantiles Hotel.

As it was conveniently located for my visit. Parking:- Plenty of parking space available but negotiating dangerous traffic across the major roads crossing was hazardous and stressful. Is it possible to negotiate favourable turns for clients with the large carparks close by in the shopping complex? This is not a complaint just a suggestion.

Staff were friendly and although it was not our first choice I was pleased in the end we stayed here Not really a complaint but iasked for 2 rooms together but this could not be done the single room over looked the square where a live and locals weekend was taking place so it wa a bit noisy but this did not bother me too much/

Hotel in dire need of renovation, E.G., scuffed paintwork, threadbare carpets on stairs, mould in the bathroom of the first room allocated, badly flushing toilets, etc. Hotel is pervaded by the smell from an Indian restaurant close by. The first room allocated was extremely small, overlooked an alley piled with kitchen waste, and was very noisy (and smelly) from traffic on the town's busiest road.

We were visitng because of a local wedding and really only spent the night. Proximity to the town was good. We had room 6 and the view over the Upper Walk and the market at the weekend was lovely. Very bright room with two sash windows. We realise the hotel has just changed names so I presume has the ownership so I assume the need to update the decor will occur in time.
