Clean hotel. The room had character. Friendly management. Would have preferred a mixing shower rather than juggling with mixing the hot and cold taps.

Location No reception, hotel room on arrival freezing cold, public rooms cold and uninviting, breakfast waiter unpleasant and unhelpful. If the owner had been available on departure we would have complained in person. however, she was nowhere to be found.

The quietness, the bed linen, the view from the window, the friendly staff. In the early evening, the bar area was dominated by locals and the television. All but 2 seats were taken and we had to move dining chairs through into the bar in order to have pre-dinner drinks.

The Park Hotel provided comfortable accommodation for us during our walking holiday. The price was reasonable and the location ideal. There is still a reasonable amount of work to do to bring the hotel up to appropriate standards: damp and peeling wallpaper are apparent in various parts of the hotel.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. The views are great, the house itself is quite grand.

We loved the friendly staff, great food and very comfortable rooms. TV in the room was very small so difficult to see, but this is a very minor gripe as part of a fabulous overnight stop.

Very friendly and helpful owners, food was lovely and room clean and well presented. Would definitely recommend it and will stay again The shower in our room was not very good but as we were only there for one night, it really wasn't a problem.

Location was great for a short stay with a young family. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, they also recommended some great torist destinations. Breakfast included in room price and quite substantial. We also had dinner in the Hotels resturant each night. Only fault was the internet connection did not work.

Very comfortable and clean with an excellent reception. Unfortunately owing to our programme we were unable to stay for an evening meal, but the menu looked interesting and appetizing.I Would definitely stay there again if we visit the area in future. The location is suitable for those travelling towards the Midlands. The gardens and trees are superb.

Arriving at the Park Hotel after a long drive, we were met with beautiful scenery, a lovely building, friendly, helpful owners and staff. Lovely, quiet room. Very nice bar to have a quiet drink in after a busy day as a tourist. Lovely evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. We will be booking again.

Tout. Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois malgré l'heure tardive. La dame de l'hôtel super sympa et souriante, prête à tout pour nous satisfaire. Cadre super reposant dans la nature. Hôtel et chambre comfortables et luxueux.

The location was good, the bed was comfortable and the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The decor, the bathroom, the food (awful breakfast) and the general atmosphere. Very poor value for money
