The filth and bed bugs
Location and price suited our need. Breakfast was OK, Friendly staff.
Could only get scalding hot water out of shower as controls weren't working properly.Decor very shabby and in need of attention.Bathroom fittings were lacking, no towel rails, plug for sink, no toilet brush.
no tea making facilities noice from other residents saw a documentary day after which had implications on that hotel which concludes would not stay there again.
Staff was amazingly kind and happy to help. Let us use the kitchen and helped us get taxis as we are not from there. However the place was nice bathroom was lovely and spacious.
The TV was a little portable which wouldn't even work. The TV in the other room was much better but couldn't turn the chanel over (stuck on the radio).
The value of money, location and easy going staff.
No toiletries in the bath room, one small soap.
They need to do more in cleaning their room.
I enjoy to stay maybe I will go back there.
Just the location.
The room was clean, the lady was cleaning every day. The area is nice and quiet, nearby Lister Park which is very nice. We arrive late but the room was ready.
The breakfast quite expensive and not tasty at all.
The hotel was very ok and I will love to lodge there again in future.
Well, I remember one night when one of your clients engaged in a fight with his friend. The receptionist explained to me the next day that it was as a result of the Muslim festival which was being celebrated that period.
The comfortable on -suit room.
Lack of tea /coffee faciliteis in the room
Good sized room; Good bed, duvet and pillow Great price!
Carpet was dirty; Only one towel was provided; Had to provide photographic ID that was photocopied.
Smelly Not a hotel
The blood stains.
The shower, no curtain, only reached my waist.
broken shower tv had one battery in remote tv had no reception wire felt like a disused room no soap in bathroom being asked what time i was leaving as soon as i got there and again in the evening? 0 customer service thick dust on top of wardrobe so not deep cleaned that often asked if i was leaving when i was going out at the night time? Asking why i was there and what my business was 0 warm welcome
The rooms will do with a bit of upgrade- carpets change, wall decor.
Shower did not work. There was bucket in the middle of the upstairs landing to catch a water leak close to a light fitting. Noisy guests kept other guests awake until 6am, the room phone did not work. Part of the reception Celing plaster was stunned on the floor. The breakfast consisted of 3 pieces of bacon, 2 partly fried eggs, mushrooms, very greasy 2 slices of toast & tea or coffee. No heating.
Linen ,towels and room was dirty. It's the worst hotel I have stayed in the UK
Dirty and TV didn't work
I liked the bathroom apart from it been dirty? Staff were nice
People coming back early hours waking me up, next room wiv tv on loud till 3am? Had to ring down to staff to ask them to turn tv down. Cleaners need sacking room wasnt clean apart from bedding.
Cheap. Can't really think of anything else that we liked. Very poor for a hotel
No tea/coffee facilities, toe nail clippings on the floor, cobwebs in the shower. No stand for the shower head. Cold shower no hot water. TV remote needed new batteries and the TV was broken too. The room smelt like someone had been smoking not half an hour before arriving
The worst hotel i have ever been filthy roof leaking toulet n everything broke horrible
the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
damaged shower cubicle, room not made up on arrival.
The room was wonderful. Big and good beds. The carpet was not really clean but the bed/duvet was great.
We asked for the room's keys twice. We left our room's door opened and asked to be closed by the receptionist. He didn't do it and told us:"I've opened it now because I know that you were arriving" (no comments... that is unacceptable. Our room was in the second floor and it was completely impossible. He didn't close it...We can't tolerate this behavior and it is a pity because the older receptionist was really nice with us).
Attitude of staff and run down neglected condition of the hotel. I rejected the two rooms I was offered and made other arrangements.
The staff were lovely and helpful. The place has a lot of potential. Was very cheap! Staff also let us use the microwave to heat out tea.
Holes in ceiling tiles, no handle on the bathroom tap, no handle on the window, no working batteries in the tv remote, tatty furniture with burn marks on I t. Just needed a general tidy up. No kettle in the room either, have to pay for each cup of coffee and tea.
