Mr Raj, and some other front desk staff were wonderful. Extremely, helpful, kind and responsive to feedback. He made my stay. The room could have done with a bit of vacuuming. |

The styling of the lobby and rooms is ok. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the nearest tubestation, not so handy if you want to drop shoppingbags during the day. Also some of the hotel doorrooms just opened upon pressing them, our lock didn't work either. Luckily we checked before leaving and it was fixed. This is no 5 star hotel, but 3-4 at the most. Ok, but location is not very convenient and rooms are tiny. Beds are very firm, not very comfy. |

This is a new hotel, the staff are keen and friendly. The room first allocated to us was unacceptably small, on request we were allowed to move to a very satisfactory room so thanks to the duty manager for that. The hotel is new and in converted houses. The dimensions are more domestic than grand, so space is tight. As a consequence there are no rooms I am told, with a bath, so this is a shower only hotel |

The TV channels are excellent. The hotel is modern sytle and new. Convenient stores are abudant near the hotel to buy amenities or food. For comfort even if you travel single, need to book double room. I stayed for two nights but one of the day, the housekeeping did not clean the room. No proper storage for luggage. The internet did not work and even after repeated complaints - the internet never got fixed. |

Absolutely rubbish hotel. This hotel was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. Staffs were not trained at all. I totally spend over 1 hour to check-in and to check out. |

Good value but having read the online reviews before staying at the hotel, we anticipated why! Attention to detail lacking and the hotel clearly still experiencing some teething problems. Rooms whilst clean were not of the standard expected from this rating of hotel - dust on surfaces, clean towels provided for one when a double room, the room safe had not been attached to the wall meaning that we could not use, the mini-bar had not been stocked. The door staff were helpful and friendly but the reception staff were at times rude. |

Quiet street. Conveniently located. Free wired internet. Attentive staff. Rooms are very small, although comfortable since I was really only there in evening. Shower is just one side of bathroom, not a stall. |

The room and the corridors in the hotel were very clean, everything seemed new and tidy, perfect furniture. Too small spaces in the room - important for those travelling not alone. |

i got the room at a discounted rate otherwise the set price would have been far too expensive for the size of the room and the accompanying facilities. also there were no coat hangers or space to hang up clothes which was a surprising basic to overlook. the service was friendly but check out was extremely slow and became somewhat frustrating. |

The bathroom facilities were very good - underfloor heating, good powerful shower (although there was a hole in the roof of the bathroom) Having booking a Double Delux, the room was barely large enough to fit the bed in. The mini bar was found on the floor in the doorway to the bathroom, unplugged and not working. Panels in the walls were lose and had light coming from them so we had to remove the key from the electrics to be able to sleep. There was also a large hole in the roof of the bathroom showing all the piping and electrics in the ceiling. For the price of the room (and the normal price of 329 pounds a night), I felt this was far far below standards and surprised the hotel had been awarded 4 stars. I addressed all of the above in an e-mail to the Shaftsbury customer services and they did not even send me a reply. Very disappointed. |

most things in this this hotel is well designed and built and should be great but ... I travel a lot around the world and this is definitely the smallest room in which I have ever slept in, and I do not know what is meant by the deluxe room ,because the room was like as the submarine, now, the room was assembled but very dirty from dust and dirty from color of the walls , then we had a problem with TV and is solved by two whole days with my 6 going to the reception ..???'I am disabled and this is unacceptable ..... |

The attention I received and the politeness and friendliness of the reception staff was excellent. My only copaint was that the duvet cover slipped and revealed a large blood stain on the duvet underneath. In my opinion this duvet should be thrown as its unhygienic but unpleasant. |

Only the location and the lobby of this Hotel is acceptable - nothing else. Almost everything was awful during my stay. Arrived during the night and couldn't check-in because of AC and hot water problems. Was sent to partner hotel. Only one night was booked in the alternative hotel although my planned stay was 2 nights. After calling the hotel 5 times the next morning a taxi was sent to pickup me up from alternative hotel - unfortunately the driver came 45 mins later and drove me to wrong hotel (how ridiculous). Still couldn't check-in, arrived at night againg - couldn't check-in again - this time due to computer problems. Finally got a room which was the same size like my warderobe at home - so tiny that I couldn't move. Complained several times at the staff - nothing changed. Definetely my first and last stay |
