The Park Grand London Paddington    

Location was great. Easy commute to everything. The facility and room were clean and comfortable. Great shower.

The Park Grand guest rooms were small but stylish, with nice clean functional bathrooms. The location is within a five minute walk to Paddington, Bayswater and Queensway stations and all points in London are easily accessible via the tube. The breakfast was the tatsiest I found in the area. The staff were very professional, unfailingly cheerful, very helpful and very obliging. I would recommend guests stay at the hotel for either business or pleasure.

I thought that the room could do with a bar fridge.

Tiny point could have done with more milk sachets- sure they would have let me have them if i asked- just a bit of a hassle

The rooms were much smaller than what was shown on the internet. No space to unpack so had to live out of my suitcase. NOT a 4 star hotel - where do they get this ranking from?

Room had no reachable wardrobe space, no mirror near the desk and power points, no shower cap despite a good high level shower. Mattress cover and duvet cover were set in a creases through poor bedmaking.

The hotel was very Clean, staff were helpful and the bathroom was very nice.

The room was exremly small and located in the basement. The breakfast was not good. The restaurant was very hot and not very big making it crowded and the food was not to a high quality.

Location and good prices.

Before this time I Stayed in the same hotel but in the basement floor which was terrible and no windows to breath but this time I asked for any floor except the basement.

Rooms are VERY small, there is literally no space to walk around, no real wardrobe storage to speak of (I could barely fit a suit and a shirt)

I have been charged 133euro from the hotel prior my arrival at the hotel for which I don't know the reason. I am investigating that with my bank and I will file a complaint as soon as I have fool documentation.

rooms are too small for 2 people unless u book a club room where u can move and have space for your luggage yet the bathroom is tiny

The hotel was very nice, historical building, the room had everything we needed, most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the locaion is very nice, 10min. from the subway sta., it has free wifi internet connection. check out was at 12, and room cleaning service available even in the afternoon.

Th eroom was quiete small, but I guess they are small everywhere incentral London. hen we cheked in the staff at the reception were not too nice, we got a tiny and very cold room n the basement with a very weird bathroom. At about 8am there was a guy doing some construction work right behind our window- very noisy. We hated the room. In the morning we ask to have the room changed and we got a ver nice warm room with a very nice bathroom and we loved it. the rest of the stay was very pleasant.

The location is very convenient close to Paddington Station and also in walking distance to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens and Queensway with its restaurants, as well as, to the Grand Union Canal with its miles of towpath for running or hiking (137 miles to Birmingham, or in the other direction a few miles to the Thames close to Canary Wharf or the Olympic area). The room was of acceptable size.

Even though I had made reservations at the Park Grand London Paddington, at arrival I was checked in at the Best Western Paddington Shaftsbury (or something like that) and lodging was in yet another, associated building. This is the second time this happened to me with this group of hotels (2 out of 2) and is not such a nice experience. When making my reservations there was nothing that indicated to me that the Park Grand was associated with Best Western Paddington Shaftsbury. Lodging was acceptable nonetheless; it was just a bit confusing that I was checked in at two locations, with both swiping my credit card. The internet connectivity did not work well at all with my business vpn. The shower space was very tight (and I am not a big person).

This was the worst hotel experience ever. I have ordered a triple bedroom but I have got one double bed and one sofa. Imagine the people I have invited to the hotel had to sleep on the sofa which was like a trampoline. The worst was when I have reported to the reception and that they did not even responded as if it was not their problem.

room resembled more likely a single than a double room - bed very short and small, only one blanket to share between two people, tiny closet with only 5 coat hangers (more wouldn't fit anyway), shower tub needs to be cleaned more thoroughly

I did not have a chance to like anything as I was immediately moved to a 3 star hotel down the road- and charged same amount

Same as what I did like - 2 people checked in before me with no problem but I was advise there was no hot water and was being moved- that being said the best western at paddington they moved me to was very helpful and pleasant but not what I booked

Staff were courteous and helpful. Request for larger room accommodated as booking for long period.

Proximity to sights and shopping

Room was very, very, very small. Bathroom door showed signs of water damage from shower.
