Ghislaine and Jaap were wonderful hosts. We had a great weekend. Perfectly located, only a short walk into the village but tucked away with incredible views of the hills. Easy to find and travel out from to explore other areas. Added bonus of a pool and sauna. Highly recommend charming!
December t swimming pool and sauna. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Wifi dropped in and out a lot. Owners slight teddy bear obsession...
Staff were extremely friendly, location perfect. We loved the sauna and pool, breakfast was superb. We'll be going back.
Location excellent, staff lovely, owners very friendly, breakfast great, cat asleep, teddies everywhere, very quiet, nice views.
Having to go home!
nice sight a bit obscured by the trees heading north, plenty parking easy walking to town.
noisy traffic nothing else
Walk's, view's, area, lot's to do
No evening food available,
The whole experience was very enjoyable. The staff were lovely, the room was great with fantastic views and the breakfast service excellent. Having a pool was a fantastic benefit. It was like having your own private pool as no one else was in it when we used it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely come again.
Room not as advertised. Unwilling to offer immediate resolution to this problem as they perceived it to be `not their fault!` Facilities and decor were very dated.
Great Staff Great Location Nice pool and sauna if required
nothing comes to mind
the views were lovely
badly signed from main road teddy bears everywhere in the house and dining area over priced
The breakfast was nice and hot, owners were very polite and helpful. Rooms and bathroom were clean.
Teddy overload !! I am all for personalising places but millions of Teddies everywhere. On chairs, stairs, key fobs and pictures. Little bit freaky. Swimming pool was lovely but underneath the appearance it had scum around the inside of the pool. Chlorine stung our eyes so much we couldn't see.
Fantastic quiet B&B on the edge of Betws-y-coed. Great location only a short walk to the centre. Lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome, great breakfast. Plenty of parking for guests.
Very pleasant hotel. Lovely views.
Park Hill is situated on the outskirts of Bets-y-Coed and is a good base to explore Wales including climbing Snowden. A nice friendly B&B
Minor comment - Not keen on teddy bears, they seem to be everywhere
lovely view from window of room. very welcoming host . swimming pool to ourselves most of the time , good variety at breakfast .
Hosts were really friendly and helpful.Nothing too much trouble even organising an early breakfast for us because we had to leave early.Loved the cat,Conwy.
Owners knew toilet seat was broken but wouldn't invest in a a new one Pillows w ere very old, stained and smelled
Clean & comfortable. Great breakfast
As stated really great place to stay. Sole purpose of weekend was walking and this provided a great base and great access to the village and the pub. Swimming pool and sauna obvious bonus and the food was great
Only tiny disappointing thing was while dreaming of a lovely warm jacuzzi during the tail end of the snowdon horseshoe it was a bit of a shame it was cold. Great for the mussles but not for the mind. Belting hot sauna made up for it
The homely atmosphere, the location, the helpfulness and friendlyness of the owners. absolutely brilliant place to stay.
The owner and staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. I could not fault their customer care.
Could do with a little updating.
It was cheap and located in easy walking distance of Betws-y-Coed. Rooms are a sensible size. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Staff and owners are very friendly and pleasant. Lots of wildlife around the hotel. Saw bats, swifts feeding (go to the fields after dawn), hedgehog and a weasel.
Hot breakfast was overcooked and chewy on both days. Bears. Everywhere! You expect to see the Hotel Inspector shovelling them into bags. The room key process is really bad. Keys are hung next to the front door and you are requested to leave them there when you are out. This way the staff know not to lock the front door (to which you don't have a key). This means that a burglar can come in through the unlocked door, take your key and all your valuables. There is no safe in the room. Despite this arrangement we got back one night to find the lights off, the front door locked, and the proprietor asleep. The door bell didn't wake him and only a phone call roused him. Phone reception in the area is very patchy so this could have been much worse. A redesign of the process is needed. The front conservatory area is infested with flies which was rather unpleasant.
Staff were very friendly and happy to help.
breakfast greasy Jacuzzi cold wifi didn't work properly
Lovely B&B just a short, pleasant walk through the fields to the town centre. We really enjoyed the sauna and pool after a long walk, and the owners are very helpful.
Jaap and Chislaine were most gracious hosts. They had a pool in house to use at our leisure . What a Fantastic place. If you eat in town check out Betws-y-Coed bistro
