Checking in and out was quick. Breakfast was good. View was lovely.
Fan in bathroom noisy. Fire alarm going off when shower was used in morning, due to steam!!
Just about everything in the hotel, such as a personalised card on your table at breakfast. The views are superb and the walk into town via the garden steps was easy.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Very helpful staff
Not suitable for less able people
we enjoyed our two night stay good nights sleep and great breakfast The hotels staff were very pleasant and helpful The hotel is within easy walking distance to Tenby town centre
no bad points
The staff tried to be helpful, the view from rooms and grounds was fantastic. The air was fresh, short walk into Tenby. Plenty to see in the area around. The place has potential and a lot going for it. The staff work hard, but the difficulties are not in their control.
the ability to respond to special diets was poor, on occasions we were told 'the chef forgot', and food which we could not eat was served, not an option offered. Dairy free diet was asked for by two of us. Special goats milk was brought by one guest and although staff knew which table it had to be asked for because for each morning. No wifi available in the bedrooms and lounge areas were not really large enough or quiet if one wanted to use wifi. When serving meals one had to wait until everyone had finished a course before they could mange to bring the next course, when there are over 40 people arriving at differing times, this was poor. Other hotels manage better service. Maybe the kitchen area is too small or not enough staff at busy times. The room service snacks would not have been an option If I went again would not eat in the hotel. Indeed we ended up having a main meal out and buying food outside and to eat in our rooms
Friendly accommadating staff. Nothing too much trouble.
excellent location, great views of beach
Away from the main town, but close enough to walk to easily. Good parking, good touring base.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed the friendly welcome from the receptionist when checking in and out. We also loved the scenery around the hotel and views from each room.
The only thing about he hotel was the bed. It was amazingly comfortable but as it was a zip lock bed the mattresses kept slipping apart. Other than that an amazing night in an amazing place.
Meals was nice with polite staff serving, in fact the staff was polite throughout. No traffic noise, so great nights sleep.
Not having booked in for a longer stay.
The view from the room over the north Beach must be one of the best in Tenby. Without exception the staff were extremely helpful, and the quality and quantity of food served at meal times was of a very high standard.
A very nicely decorated modern room with a sea view was just what we wanted. Breakfast was served by lovely staff members and an excellent menu. We had an evening meal in the bar and again excellent service and a great menu. We both look forward to another visit to this hotel in the future. Thank you
Friendly staff excellent food fantastic location good value for money
- The cosy lobby - The hill views from my roon - The garden view to Tenby
- The old elevator
Good food and comfortable room.
Long walk to centre of town. Wifi spasmodic and TV didn't work.
great location, very friendly and helpful staff.
Just off the town but only a few mins walk. Room was quite small but lovely views
Staff were very, very friendly. Stunning view over the beach Handy location close to town Parking Great food with plenty of choice
Bathroom was a bit tired, but ok
Breakfast all brought to the table and super efficient and friendly service. Everything was clean and well looked after and gardens were beautiful too. Will certainky return.
Seats in bar area very uncomfortable and in need of re-upholstering but nothing else to grumble about.
great location and friendly staff
although clean and well kept it is a bit out dated and could do with being redecorated and modernised inside
views staff food
would have liked a larger bed
On-site parking assured and location relatively close to the town centre. The sea view from the garden (not so evident from our ground level sea-facing room). Aspect of the garden were delightful. But the main small area with the best viewpoint reeked of tobacco smoke and cigarette butts.
Having booked a top-of-range room with sea-view and requested consideration for a walking disabled wife, there was no dedicated parking to facilitate ease of access and unloading. The main car-park was quite a walk away from our room. Also, the bathroom lacked a walk-in shower or even a safety handrail on the wall by the bath. Also in the bathroom there was no shelf for toiletries nor hooks for hanging bathrobes or personal clothing while showering. All taps were difficult to operate. After two nights of discomfort, the mattress was turned on request. That solved one problem, but my wife suffered instead. If it was our mattress, it would be replaced promptly. Food was plentiful and tasty and well-cooked. But the menu was limited and hinted at catering for coach parties. We would have liked the option of being able to select alternative dishes. On Friday night, for example, the only fish on the menu was breaded scampi. Yet Tenby has plenty of fresh fish. Very poor selection of leaflets to help with touring locally. All rather disappointing!
Excellent breakfast service Good customer service overall Good views from hotel Ample parking
Further from the centre of Tenby than we'd expected Wifi not available in rooms Very old lift Stiff bedroom door Weak shower Price
Without exception the staff were extremely helpful in a most friendly manner. Nothing too much trouble. Appreciated the requested reserved disabled parking space. Very nice room with views down to the harbour.
Meals, whilst being excellent, the menu might have been a bit more varied.
