Location was good as you could easily leave and return for day trips

The state of the bedroom, The bathroom was a state /dirty, The furniture was Brocken. The state of repair of the hotel is very poor.

Very clean, comfortable room.Friendly and efficient staff. Good base for visiting any part of the island.

Great value, very dated but VERY clean crisp sheets. Staff welcoming to a lone traveller. Great value for money. I would stay again.

Overall it was a pleasant experience

The breakfast, if it would have been a complete buffet, it would have been quick and helpful !

Very good helpful staff especially the duty manager we had for our stay.

Advertising photoes of the outside of the hotel very misleading. Booked online " Luxury room with larger bed" got far from luxury room with two single beds. As it was our 40th wedding anniversary it was supposed to be special. Disappointed .

Cost of the room The hotel was very pretty on the outside and very traditional on the inside should keep that nice rough towels

Room was too hot shower was leaky so heard drip drip all night not fresh milk teapot didn't close entertainment although can see it was popular with the older guests which i guess is their main custom entrance is confusing as car park away from main entrance work being done nearby was very loud pressure of sinks and shower not good at all Soap given made my hands very dry

Easy to find, parking for disabled people, quiet.

Bedroom furniture had seen better days. The stool in the room should have been thrown out years ago. There was no water pressure for the shower.

Menu a little pricey in some areas and can be cold sometimes had to 'lift and pull' room door to lock unlock

The room was clean and comfortable. And there were a range of choices for breakfast.

No wifi, and toiletries not provided.

It's good value of money and location wise best.

No mattress covers on bed. Room carpets did not appear to have seen a vacuum cleaner in a while. Room was cold in mornings and windows were jammed. No bar open, no evening meals.

Ideal for people wanting to stay in a friendly hotel.

The price was good considering that the room was clean and comfortable, space was tight but parking wad available.

When we called to check in,(we were working all day) we asked about the restaurant, we where informed by the lady o the phone that the restaurant took last orders at half eight, we pointed out that this would be tight and where I formed that the town centre was lose by with plenty of bars and restaurants. We arrived at the hotel at around 1800 and asked after the restaurant from the duty manager to, he was clearly rushed and informed us that there was only bar snacks and that they finished at half six! Hardly leaving us time to shower, and forcing us to take the walk into town to find food. We showered, changed and left our room to find the same gent serving food to a half full restaurant, at 1930! We took our money into town where a very hospitable freehouse feed us, served us quality ales and generally made up for having to venture out and for being left with the feeling that we where not really welcome in the bar or restaurant in your hotel. We are business owners accustomed to travel and after a shower, a shave and a change of clothes we where suitable to be seen in any restaurant and feel that we where treated very poorly. Although wanting updating in some features the hotel was clean comfortable the staff were polite and very hardworking the breakfast was good with an excellent choice of cereal and fresh fruit the cooked breakfast was well presented and hot

this was a late booking and there was nothing that we did not like

Mattresses had seen better days and were really unconfortable - we had to turn ours it sagged that badly! No background music in the bar area at night, not entertainment, but nicer than sitting there in silence Very limited parking Small TV's and not adjustable

Location was good and staff very helpful. Had to change rooms because of ants and staff organised it very quickly. Excellent value for money, and would use again. Beds extremely comfortable

Rooms looked a little tired and could do with some up dating.

IT was welcoming , friendly staff rooms were clean and comfortable good value for money. Food was good.
