The staff at the. Peel aldergate was very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent lots of things on offer!
The door handle falling of in my hands locking us in the room. But the staff was very helpful in getting someone to the room but had to repair the lock myself. But we was given a free round of drinks of them.
Brekfast good and more than happy to help with any individual request.
You could hear when others moved around in the room upstairs
The friendly welcome, the willingness to please. Good wine. Good food well cooked.
Luckily, I didn't bring my cat; "luckily" because there wouldn't have been enough room to swing it in my single room. The car park resembled the size of my room, there simply isn't enough space, even without my cat.
The staff at the Peel Aldergate Hotel were very friendly. Our stay there was because we were visiting Drayton Manor Park which was only 2.5 miles away which was a very easy route to follow with our sat nav. The rooms were clean and comfortable and their restaurant was excellent. The hotel was very close to the town centre and a children's park was only a short walk away. If we go to Drayton Manor again I will definitely stay at the Peel Aldergate Hotel.
We could not access Wi Fi from our room so had to go to the bar to access it.
rooms were very comfy and food excellent . family of four and was perfect for us . quiet and really nice owners
I booked a night with the Peel Aldergate for my boyfriend and I for his birthday. We both loved the room as soon as we walked in. The 4 poster bed was gorgeous and the room itself had a very cosy feeling to it. It was very close to lots of different shops and we enjoyed a walk around the town after we got there as well
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. The room was gorgeous, the staff were very friendly & helpful with any questions we had about the town
Allowed us to check in early. Spaceous room, Great shower.
The pillows were a bit thin.
good service and breakfast. Will be great when front of house restaurant opens
room a little small and perhaps marginally overpriced.
Convenience to our destination and breakfast was great.
It was a little expensive relative to what you got.
Everything was wonderful even Chris's chips
The fact that the Hotel was able to accommodate a family of five was a big help. Very central location with secure parking and exceptional breakfast. Would recommend to other families who may visit Drayton Manor in the future
Good location, very helpful staff, nice room
A very tight car park, with some very inconsiderate cars using up 2 spaces.
friendly staff, nice room with good facilities, well presented bathroom, lovely breakfast, excellent value for money.
Very friendly staff and lovely accommodation. Would definitely stay there again. Excellent value for money.
In the middle of Tamworth, convenient for church/Assembly rooms & Castle. Food was excellent, great menu, Friendly , very helpful staff. Air conditioning worked (with new battery in controller). Restaurant under rebuild so reception used. Parking OK. Rooms and general decor very smart.
Wifi outside in the yard but not in our room.
It's a very good location. Near the tower and town centre. Staff are helpfull and let us keep our car in the parking after we had checked out so we could explore the town.
Nothing I did not like.
Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Thank you.
Good quality foods. Yummm
Location - excellent for Drayton Manor theme Park & Thomasland People in Tamworth so helpful in all aspects of our journey. A lovely town.
-Rooms were in separate muses up narrow stairs away from restaurant which doubled up as reception -No Foyer or relaxed area away from your room. ( a bit small for three, 2 adults 1 child ) -Not suitable for buggies or toddlers. -NO Lifts -No direct train/bus from/to Birmingham Airport.
Very good food and friendly folks, nice place to be in summer
The staff were very pleasant.
Not conducive to hanging around and relaxing. The menu was overpriced. No proper seating arrangements as it's a restaurant. A very early check out time. 10am is a mad time. Parking was simply terrible. The bar shuts too early and the beds were most uncomfortable. A little overpriced for what you get.
nice friendly efficient staff
car park was not very good
I had 2 young children with me and they made us all welcome and the kids loved the fact that they could pick what they wanted for cooked breakfast. Very helpful on what to do in the local area, would recommend to anyone we will be staying again on our next visit to thomas land.
staff excellent couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast excellent well cooked and not over greasy, eggs perfect.
nothing to dislike
Closeness to the main shopping area and Castle and park
We aren't able to climb stairs without difficulty should have no5tified this. So fund the steel stairs difficult and being a wet day not liked at all.
