The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. The hotel is currently being modernised and is very comfortable and looks really good.
Although it is a budget hotel, I was surprised to find there wasn't any soap/liquid in the bathroom. Also although it is slightly more niggley, the tea bags were just a handful of loose bags in a bowl, rather than individually wrapped ones.
Friendly accommodating people, good service, good bar!
Shower not at all powerful, breakfast a little too greasy
Location was great, just a few minutes walk from north pier. Owner was very friendly. We had a family room with a double bed and bunk beds, double bed was ok however bunk beds were very sqeaky and uncomfortable. The reception/lounge/bar area was very warm and nicely decorated. Breakfast was a full English and unless you ask for anything different you automatically get that in front of you. There was cerial and juice also so you could help yourself, tea and coffee as standard. Breakfast was nice though. All together it was ok... You get what you pay for and if you're looking for a comfy peaceful sleep I suggest staying somewhere else.
Excellent Host!! Kept bar running till late for us and plate full of hash browns for my daughter. Brilliant.
Room was nice.. Owners lovely! Great breakfast.. Use of iron, hairdryer, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Great location too right by funny girls. Lovely stay thank you xxx
The bad smell of dogs through the hotel , the beds were rough the whole experience was a nightmare with young kids
Super friendly staff, well cooked breakfast, very clean rooms, bedding all matched and soft towels
location,lovely warm room,big tv.
Made to feel at home as soon as we got there. Comfortable place to be and the atmosphere on the night time was great. Where located you have access to literally everything. People who work there are so funny and friendly and easily approchable. Family friendly environment
Location was fabulous, down the road from the train station, close to North Peer & seafront. Plenty to see and doo close by. Clean, friendly & helpful, breakfast was tasty, service quick, excellent value for money, would book to stay again.
Staff friendly and welcoming
Nothing to wash hands with in the bathroom!
arrived owner was not welcoming at all got more of a welcome from there 2 dogs! got to bedroom tv didnt work, dirty teaspoons left on side from previous customers! and toilet which didn't flush propley! when repored tv the owner made out we were lying and said we'll must be working other customers havnt complained! he was rude and abrupt, he sorted the problem eventually, my children went down for spoons and he tutted and grunted at them when they asked politely for clean ones! then he asked for payment a day b4 we left! If bpool wasn't fully booked everywhere I'd have left and gone elsewhere! Deffo think again if ur planning on staying here!
Everything was great at this hotel very friendly, helpful, people.Enjoyed our stay we will return next year
Extremely family friendly, yet would never have known how many other children were there until we saw them at breakfast......nice & quiet in rooms! Breakfast was wonderful.Never stayed so far north before....saw so much more of the lights because we did! Helpful staff (see 'didn't like')
Nothing to do with the hotel, what we didn't like was the confusing Blackpool parking tarrif & how it changed suddenly from place to place. Thankfully we were advised by hotel proprietors where to park & for how long. Many thanks!
nice guy excellent service
Nice clean B&B, Rooms nice, bar nice, food good, staff very friendly, a bit of a distance to the pleasure beach but trams are just down the street. Good position for the shops. Would book again. thanks guys
Only a little problem, the dogs, not everyone likes dogs and to let them into bar area was a bit much, they were friendly but...not everyone likes dogs. sorry !! (you did put away when you saw my daughter was a bit frightened).
All of it and the staff did a good job
No parking out side but there is one close bye at a cost
relaxed atmosphere easy going did as we pleased could stay in if we wished no pressure to go out in the mornings so beds could be made etc staff there if needed without being in your face will book again Even when children in hotel not disturbed.
nothing to complain about .
Grubby room, used plastic cup in bedside drawer, thin uncomfortable mattresses, carpet grubby, hairs in washbasin and shower area, dog hairs on dining chairs!
The bed was a bit hard
Friendly staff, room was clean and bathroom was clean, room was a ok size as well. Bar was ok for a nice chill out listening to some music. Breakfast was nice had a good choice of cereals, toast, full English breakfast, scrambled egg, freah juice, tea or coffee. Nothing was too much trouble.
The only bad thing about the place was that they had 2 dogs both really friendly 1 small dog and 1 big dog. The big dog had abit of a smell to it not real bad just the normal dog smell and only could smell the dog when it was near you.
the hotel was shabby and had a dirty smell when you walked in there was a big dirty fish tank in the hallway the owner looked like he needed a good wash. the bed sheets clearly hadnt been changed as there were hairs all over them all in all it was shocking
Decent price paid for decent rooms, not very big rooms but was suffice! Staff where pleasant and helpful, decent bar with good mix of drinks, prices were again fair. Good location 5 mins walk from city centre
took 10 mins to get hot water but wasn't much of an issue.
